Many of my old hub buddies here have disappeared off the forums in the last month or so.
I understand many of them are trying to catch up after the Google Gnash, but where the hell are the rest of you?
Did you all get high paying jobs? Have you decided many of the forums are boring your backside off? Have you stopped posting to write more hubs? Are the forums boring your backside off? Is it getting harder to find the time?
Are the forums boring your......
Ya gotta drop by and let me know your still alive guys n gals!
Maybe the way your are repeating yourself has something to do with it LoL
Maybe there are too many contests going on
I only know a few things, so I have to just keep on sayin em over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over if ya know what I mean!
No offense taken Sofs, I have an Australian sense of humour, so I may have given the impression I was offended.
"If you don't like it you can *iss off." is humour to some Australians, we are a bit confused down here and don't take offense to many things at all, probably because we don't understand them.
Seriously though I do say things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over!
What was that ,lol
Aww Im here ,but I suspect ya wasnt missing me.
Hello EagleKiwi, Nice to see you on another post. The religious threads make for nice relationships.
Yea it is nice.
Did you know that Downunders (Kiwis and Aussies) are also the most travelled (per capita).
Perhaps that also makes us adaptable and easy going. as we navigate the web, lol.
Lol, perhaps so, How have you been kiwi?
Hey Sister,I missed youre post ,but came back (as one does) lol
Always great to see you too!
I am good, but sad week, hubby's friends son just been killed in Afghanistan he was only 30 yrs old.
So sad, so young. My condolences to you, his family and friends. A big loss to forebear.
kiwi, I missed your post also. I am so sorry to hear about your husband's friend son and the other's who have lost their loved ones.
Very sorry to hear. I'll send up a prayer for his family.
I know! I left my home once and went all the way to the next suburb.
I woke up silly as a wet hen, so this is gonna be an interesting day.
Some people get colds and flu, I get silliness attacks!
I could blame my gkids for it I suppose, but Asha can read now, so I have to watch what I write when she's around.
Ahh - repeating the few things you think you know over and over - you done caught religion matey !
I done gone an caught me a religion izzit?
I knew somethin was wrong when I started imagining I had friends in the religious threads!
friends - on Hubpages !!!?- you have totally lost the plot
I really have haven't I? I was gonna ask just curious for some help, but shes just curious, I thought of talking to Habee, but I think I owe her 14 chickens, Haunty undersold me on my own hub, (and made better jokes than I did ..... the pig!) Baileybear is making mutiny mumblings about goin out on his own,
I reckon it will be just me and maddie soon.
The banner and the banned - that would be about right
I think the forums just seem more empty with the departure af the pair of trolls with multiple personalities in disorder - I think him and her were most of the posters on here toward the end.
Come to think of it..... you are probably right, they seemed like a bloody mob on their own!
I am now an expert at being banned, and will be writing a hub on how to do it very soon.
Actually I was just sucking up to Maddie hoping I won't get banned again!
I'm still here, but considering setting up my own site. The drop in traffic is discouraging and the community feel is lacking at the moment.
Could fire a shotgun in cyberspace & hit no-one here!
They're all still alive and well, frolicking in a new playground where they don't have to put up with the crap that goes on here.
And if you've ever read "Atlas Shrugged", you'll understand why :-)
My dear Tasmanian friend! Eric! How are you both? Are you still living in Tasmania? Is it still upright? Do you need a tow?
Will you ever escape to the mainland again?
I will now scurry off to Google and look up that book thing so I don't look dumb for not havin read it!
They're bringing out the movie this year so you can wait for that if you want. Not sure of Aus release date though!
I heard that Tasmania is getting moved closer to the mainland.
How? Because Melbourne sucks.
We are trying to revise our hubs, write hubs, etc. etc. etc. lolololo but I am here.
Are people really being banned from the forums? I can understand why if they are rude.
Worthy adversaries and long termers, both of you! Where are the atheist rubble?
There only seems to be three topics going these days - religion, Obama and Panda woes! Maybe we should all try harder to start one interesting thread a day and have a bit of fun?
what subjects could we choose?
how about the price of a pint of milk? well gas has been done to de
how about ***********
someone start a thread on topics we can think about starting threads on ( just in case anyone is interested it took years of training in the British Civil Service to come up with that one)
Nice to see you Earnest. I just moved to a new place and am working a lot harder on my sites. So I'm not going to be very active on any forums for a bit.
Good night my only (awake) friends, I need to make sone ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzs
Have a great night, morning, afternoon or whatever ya got!
earnestshub, you're not the only one who has noticed the disappearence of forum posters. Rafinf has also asked "Where did everyone go?" Maybe it's alien abductions or boredom or maybe something more sinister. Maybe we should send out search parties. I just love a good party.
What happened to the forums? An explosion is putting it mildly.
It's like being the survivors after the Apocalypse, huh, Cagsil? It's strange to look at the ruins while still feeling good and healthy.
Yeah, but you were born here.
LOL.....I was? I believe you were here before me though.
You know Earnest, I wondered that too myself. however, I guess with the recent panda hit, and how some of the writers that joined have moved on to other things, I think forums has died down significantly. Heck, I'm starting to think the only topics people are interested in forums is either political, religions or just ways to increase traffic. Hopefully, with hubpages changes, it'll spark more activity back into hubpages. Then again, I've been wrong before. However, it's good to see you're still with us though, as I know this place wouldn't be the same without you buddy.
Hey Ernest, have you ever noticed that if you flip Austrailia upside down it kind of looks like the Unites States? Coincidence?????
The forums are quieter because many active and interesting people have gone for a variety of reasons from those like Misha who apparently make their living working the Google system legally and successfully, but in a way that is not compatible with HP - to those who jumped ship in response to the first rude email and shockingly unpublished hub.
There are just us boring people left now.
Some are too scared to post anything interesting in the current climate of unexplained bannings and hub-witch-hunting, some are just p!!ssed off and sulking. The religious kids are keeping quiet hoping that their huge mass of hubs, of mostly duplicate content, will be left alone to slip by on the tails of the religious advertisers (HP revenue). Some of the paid political spammers seem to have been shut down which is good for this site, as is getting rid of a few trolls.
The remainder are either @$$licking goody two shoe management support drones, arrogant @$$holes who refuse to stop attacking the blatant holes in the whole approach of HP to the Panda.
An approach that is blatantly mixed with turning this site from the revenue sharing site that we joined, with revenue sharing TOS, into a revenue base for HP. Changing the TOS to the extent that has been done is not within the scope of 'adjustment' it is changing the whole basis of the original agreement, under cover of the Panda reaction.
I am still here so far
So those still here are either boring, scared, arrogant, goody two-shoe types, or some combination of all of these?
You sweet talker, you.
What we need is a naughty schoolboys forum.
The most fabulous thunderstorm passing over here right now with continuous thunder and lightening and rain so heavy I can't see the buildings a couple of hundred yards away. Whooohoo! going off line now just in case
I am still around Earnest, I have myself a new lady whom takes up alot of my time at the mo.
I haven't written much in the way of Hubs at all over the last few weeks, but having a cunning plan to return. I also check the forums almost daily just to see what everyone is (saying) up to. The mighty Carlton Blues are doing better than expected in the footy as well, woot.
Hope life is treating you and the family well Earnest!
Busy with contests, writing Hubs and finding the forums extremely depressing has all added to keeping me out of these pages. Panda one, panda two, HubPages doesn't give us any love, blah blah blah.

Why Do Atheists Love Religious Forums? All over the Internet you'll find atheists flooding the religious forums instead of atheist forums. Why do they want to participate so much on forums about a faith they do not accept?

I was just looking at the titles of the threads for the forums and was immediately struck by the large number of religious topics, many of which have God in the title. I am just wondering why there are so many religious posts here at present? It makes hubpages look as if it is full of religious...

... administer the forums?I asked a similar question in a poll in a recent Hub and though I had many views I didn't get many votes. Now I wonder are people afraid of the consequences if they post their votes or their views?

I have spent quite a bit of time lately reading through various forums where the imminent departure of one Hubber or another was being discussed. Many people have been leaving recently, it seems, including several prominent ones. But why? Oftentimes, these discussions imply a lot of insider...

I am surprised. I yesterday posted this topic 'Can Science explain everything?'. This hubber came out and gave me some answers. Now as I have provided him some reasons, he hot hurt and started to post nasty personal attacks. He said this to me, I quote: "This is why religious people such as...

I feel that believing in one religion is not practical. Likewise, there is no way of knowing if there is one God, or any God for that matter. I'm not saying there's not either, though I do trust science it only goes so far... Some things will always be left unexplained. The bottom line is that with...
