When my family and I were going on vacation a couple of months ago, there was a film crew at the airport shooting a few scenes for a Scottish soap opera called River City, one of the scenes involved a man running up an escalator to try and catch his girlfriend who was running away my family and I were waiting in line at the check in desk and he ran past us.
the show was screened tonight and right at the end there we were on screen for a whole 2 seconds, woo hoo fame at last lol.....jimmy

15 minutes minus 2 seconds = 14 minutes 58 seconds of fame left. Whoohoo (everyone gets 15 minutes of fame) hehe

Congratulations Jimmy! I was my sister's guardian on the set of the remake of The Parent Trap, the one with Lindsay Lohan.  The camp scene was filmed up in Crestline, California at Camp Seeley.   In the opening scene at the camp you can see the back of my sister's heard.  She is wearing a black and white checkered top with a ponytail.  Funny to think she got paid to take time off of school and to be an extra in a movie, I never got that kind of a school break.  Disney does a very good job when catering for extras and the food there was very surprisingly good for a set on location.

Funny story - nice! A friend of mine was an extra in one episode of Laverne & Shirley 30 years ago, and he's never let me forget it wink
