What is the most important lesson life has taught you so far?
To persevere or change your path into a realistic path within which you can persevere in.
believe in yourself and others around you. to me not enough people take responsibility for their lives, they rely on others or religion way too much. if we could just have as much faith in each other as some do in gods , we would be so much better off.
Nothing lasts forever. Good times don't so don't get cocky or arrogant ; and neither do the bad times, so hang in there when they come.
Life has taught me a very serious lesson when I was 48 years old. That is be rational in decisions and avoid emotions taking advantage of you. I learnt that if we are emotional that people try to blackmail us emotionally using various pranks.
Don't freak out. Take life as it goes. Even when everything you are involved in basically throws up with issues. Just calm down and handle them one at a time.
Baz Luhrmann said it right with "the race is long, and in the end it's only with yourself." Live your own life and the key is being happy with yourself.
To be patient and the things you believe in will happen; This goes for relationships, work and just about anything else. Patience is a true step to happiness, and that's what everyone is searching for. I can personally say patience has paid off for me in so many areas of my life.
It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder ... do not raise your voice; raise your words.
To not expect anything from others, but accept all positive that comes to me.
Nobody bats a thousand in life. We should accept who we are and always see the glass half full not empty.
never trust guys who say they love you in the first moment uve met them
I have learned that everything will pass, be it good or bad.
There's nothing more to add to that. You nailed it.
Life is always not about my wants, but life is all about love for God and others which is meant to be shared.
do not judge others, you dont know what shoes they walk in. I try to live by that rule but sometimes I slip back and judge others
It may be a cliche, but 'actions speak much louder than words' still holds true for me.
I've learnt that one must never take one's loved ones for granted, and must always take out time to appreciate their importance in their life.
Another lesson I've learnt is that if I want something in life, sitting and planning and merely dreaming about it will not get me there, and will only harbour frustration and resentment. It is very important to be pro active about your goal, and make effort you can to achieve it.
I have learned that nobody can give you something which is not yours, & nobody can take from you something which is yours.
Always, do your best as needed & don't worry about the result.
That every decision I make in life affects not only my future but can also affect those around me.
I have learned that you have to believe in good things no matter what because if you are looking into the dark too often, all you will see is darkness. It is too easy to see darkness, and be pulled in by other people who don't want to see good things.
I have also learned to do what you say and say what you mean.
Finally, you can't change the past, but the future is in your hands
