Well, technically speaking energy is not living, and neither does the energy from the corpse of someone just "fall into a void."

actually, life relies upon, and consists of energy. therefore, energy is life. without it, there would be nothing.
There are many types of energy, and energy does not die, it transforms.
If the energy of a person does not live on, how can people explain why so many people see loved ones after they have passed over or sense them being around them?
energy doesn't die. it transforms.
