There is the favorite child in the family. This child receives all the accolades and preferential treatment from his/her parents. Then there is the child who is well.......the unfavorite one in the family. This child oftentimes is treated more differentially albeit in a negative sense. Were you or did/do you know of a person who was the unfavored child in the family? Did this unfavoritism make him/her stronger or irrevocably damaged his/her self-esteem?
