yes family is important to me but there are 2 families,
my own parents or my own family with hubby and kids

Which would you choose if you were me?
If you choose your parents, your kids and hubby would be angry and jealous

Vice versa, if you choose your own family, your parents would be hurt.

Families are important because of our shared experiences which usually causes us to be supportive of one another through life's ups and downs. In most families there is a "bond".

    That's what friends are for!!!!

You should never have to choose. When I married I new I was leaving my birth family and now my responsibilities are to my husband, children and grandchildren. It doesn't mean I don't love my parents and siblings, it means my life has changed and my priorities have changed. That's life. I don't have other family living close by, but I do go see them. Why do you feel the need to choose between them?
