One thing I notice about this image is that its light is shed in every direction except for directly towards the hubble telescope.
ZOMG! The Eye of Sauron really does exist!
*still thinks it looks like a flaming vagina btw*
That is exactly what I thought when I first saw it!
Agreed. Flaming vagina's in space, what has NASA been up to anyway...
Have to agree... Sandy, bad girl, where did you get the pic?
Hmmm..always wondered what one of those things looked like.
I think I'm scared now.
Who else thinks that this image reminds you of Lord of the Rings? It seriously looks like the eye of sauron to me LOL.
I thought it was a negative of someone's eye. Maybe I am just pure of thought?
That is fantastic. They have some awesome images from the hubble telescope.
All free and you can download them here:
I am going with vagina though
Ahh...the light is shed towards the telescope. That is what you are seeing. If there were no light shed towards the telescope, one would simply see a black screen.
The illusion is chiefly created by viewing a three-dimensional effect in a two-dimensional domain.
Interesting how the human mind sees the most inappropriate things in the most innocent and/or intellectual photographs and phrases.
I'd have to say the second picture looks like a breast to me. Anyone else? Or I suppose it could be a penis with extremely large balls.
