   Did aliens visit ancient civilizations?
   
   Do you think there's compelling reason to believe that ancient civilizations encountered extraterrestrials in order to accomplish the engineering feats they did?  Specifically, the great pyramids, the precision of certain stonework and the sheer size of the stones they were able to move at numerous different places around the world.
   
   Also, could some religious texts be misinterpreted encounters with extraterrestrial beings?
   
   Just interested what people think possible explanations could be for how such architecture was created thousands of years ago?

   It is not impossible in my view.  There is a theory that the modern human race is a hybrid of the primitive species that roamed the planet and extraterrestrial beings (Anunnaki) and that pyramid sites were their navigational points from outside the Earth's orbit.

   Aliens have been visiting Earth for millenia: the evidence just keeps on mounting, even astronauts are now coming clean - with accounts of alien encounters out there in space.
   
   Whether or not they had a hand in helping men build ancient monuments, however, remains an open question.
   
   Bear in mind that when it was first proposed that monuments: such as Stonehenge, were astronomically aligned, mainstream science and archaeology ridiculed the idea as preposterous. Now they try to take all the credit for this 'discovery'.

   In ancient mythology texts there are numerous ques that point to 'other worldly beings' amongst us. Reading these historical & mystical teachings that are present in many ancient civilizations such as the Mayans, Egyptians, native American Indians & indigenous cultures amongst others...  There have been pictures in caves, hieroglyphs etc; As well as unexplained architecture such as the pyramids will aways raise questions & debate. Ancient astrology that was founded within the Mayan civilization had great significance in regard to the pyramids.
   
   I think it is a spiritual phenomena that stems from advanced knowledge that has been lost over time...

   One thing is sure - in the great vast infinity of the universe, it's mathematically and scientifically impossible that this one little blue marble is the only one with not only life, but sentient life, on it.

   There are plenty of books on the subject, The 12th Planet by Zecharia Zitchin is one. However since this question was asked in clear sight of a google search, the author obviously prefers others to do his thinking for him.
   
   In this regard perhaps one only need watch videos on You Tube such as Project Camelot interviews of such researchers as Richard Hoagland, Stewart Swerdlow, David Wilcock, Graham Hancock or Alex Collier.
   
   If however one likes Hub Articles simple visit my profile and pick any number of my Hubs as they all pertain to ancient history and the lies we have been told for the last 10,000 years.
   
   What most folks are unwilling to accept is that our ancestors were technologically and spiritually far more advanced than we are today and took their civilization back to Eden inside our Hollow Earth, where they reside today!
   
   Aliens didn't build these testaments to time our ancestors did, what do think the Aurora Borealis really is, why do you think there is still a no fly zone over the poles 20 years after the Cold War ended, where do all the UFO's come from . . . right here . . . they never left.
