Should marijuana be legalized? Why or why not.
According to which poll you follow from 46 percent to 61 percent of all Americans favor the legalization of marijuana.
Here in the United States peoples life's are ruined by the court system when they are arrested for possession of marijuana. It clogs up the court system and causes all kinds of problems for many people. So why shouldn't we legalize it and tax it.
Prohibition didn't work with alcohol and its never going to work with marijuana either. So why shouldn't the US and its citizens benefit from taxes from the sale of marijuana.
Of course it should. Its the money that keeps it illegal. The American public should stand up and demand it. As Crazyhorsesghost said prohibition didn't work. America could really use the tax money and in case you don't know marijuana is not nearly as dangerous as cigarettes or alcohol.
Its a shame that the religious fanatics still control America the way they do. Get real people.
Absolutely. If something that is twice as dangerous like alcohol is legal then so should a simple plant. Plus the money it could generate would greatly help our economy.
Why ? I don't think It should be because people always attracted to wrong things thn good ones ..if majority saying that you should die ..you will not ..we don't need Marijuana

I personally think it is ridiculous that it's not allowed. But according to polls the majority disagree with me! Surely there must be somebody on here that favors the outlawing of marijuana. Tell me why!
