   Without a doubt nothing will happen... The Mayans had already predicted thousands of years into the future, maybe they saw no need to continue.  Besides, the calender was tied deeply with their religious beliefs and you never know if it had more to do with their religion or actual astronomy if they stopped the calender... And the date specified has probably already passed with daylight savings and whatnot over the years... so yeah, no end of the world on December 21st.

   I am convinced nothing will change.  There have been so many predictions of "the end" in my lifetime alone and everyone was all abuzz and freaked out - and nothing happened. I believe it will be this way in December.

   Personally, I do not believe any human can predict that, and I question those who claim they have that kind of "power" per say.

   Don't believe it will happen, but at least after this month, it doesn't seem to matter quite as much. Won't be packing away those canned goods after all.

   I think on December 22 people will backpedal and say, "oh, we read it wrong. It was supposed to be March 20th, 2015". Then we will have dozens of documentaries and predictions leading up to that date.

   If I believe that, I'd believe everything Nostradamus said.  No human can ever predict the end of the world except me.  I predict the end of the world is coming.  When?  I have no idea.  But when you die, it will be the end of the world, at least for you.  That's what I believe.

   It can be the end of any one's world if they wish, but not mine. I intend to keep on trucking and make the most of every live minute that I have on this green earth.

    Or better yet, ask the people who actually believe that this is going to happen. Like political prognosticators, wanna-be prophets always seem to disappear into the woodwork once they are proven wrong.
