December 21, 2012.... Do you believe the world will end on this day?

I don't believe anyone can predict the end of the world but MANY believe that this is doomsday. What are your thoughts?

No, I agree with you. No one can predict the end of time. God only knows when. Jesus Christ doesn't even know when this will happen. I do hope to see it in my lifetime. What a magnificent sight this will be.

No, the world will not end on this our calendar date of 2012. I do think that within a few years our world may change from what we all see and experience to something different.Perhaps, it will be more of a struggle in the near future, yet as human beings and strong in our spirits, we can survive and go on into this twenty-first century with our heads held high. We can see changes in the climate, changes in the economy, changes on he world stage of leaders and there is always the threat of Irate leaders in countries, who may start a war over many problems of an ongoing nature. We will have to take each day as it comes, and make the best of each one, just like we have always done in this life.

Same crap, different year. Remember, Harold Camping and his Kool-Aid Kids predicted that the world would end not once, but twice last year -- and we dodged the bullet both times.

Someone please let me know if it's going to happen so I won't waste any time or effort buying presents and food for Christmas.

I think that whoever thinks the world is going to end should send me what they think is going to be useless money.

No I don't believe it. God does not want us to know when he chooses to end time as we know it. Any predicted doomsday is not likely.

No, it will not end on that day.  There are still quite a few things that will have to happen before the Lord returns.  You can read about them in the book of Revelations, Daniel, and also in Matthew 24, among others.  We are in what is called the "labor pains" before the real bad stuff happens.  The crime will get much worse.  The storms and earthquakes will get much worse.  There will be a Tribulation, where the AntiChrist will come, along with the New World Order and many will die from diseases, and the AntiChrist will force people to get a mark on their hand or forehead (666) in order to buy or sell, hold a job, etc.  It's all in the Bible and is coming true right in front of our eyes.  Jesus is coming soon!

The world is likely to end if we continue to deplete the resources. But I do not think it will end in 21 December 2012.

No one can predict the end of the world, except God.

Will that date be the end? It could be, but not because of a Mayan calendar. The Mayans did not say it would be the end of the world, but that it will be the end of an age. Like when the calendar turned over from 1999 to 2000.

I am not commenting on the theoretical and scientific aspect of it all. If the world ends, it is, well, the end. And, if the world doesn't end, at least it would give us a chance to repent for all the bad that we have done.

Maybe itt will come to a swift end for us humans, if the prophecy is true that is, but to say it will end for all of the earthly inhabitants, I do believe it's truly far fetched, and so that means such a prophecy was somewhat biased, and quite obnoxious if you ask me.
Whoever came up with such a thing many years ago, they must have really had their marbles screwed backwards LOL. "This is my honest opinion, and not a fact" smile

Plus they already made a new Superman movie, due to come out in 2013, and why would Hollywood make a movie for next year if they knew the world would come to an end this year. Go Figure!
