Do you ever hesitate to do something due to afraid of making mistake?
Yes, I'm afraid that describes me to a "T" I tend to be very hesitant with things because I may just make a mistake. I like to do a lot of crafts and at times, I will hold back from trying a project because of this fear. It sounds strange, but it can be very crippling.
I hesitate daily when posting on hub pages and other websites. If some doesn't like what I've written they may try to track me down and do me an injury or worse. I think I sometimes realize that I like free speech on the internet but it is not without its consequences.
So yes I hesitate in using the internet and it could be a mistake having so much opinion and the mistake could be someone turning up with a weapon or wore.
Of course. I do that all the time. It rarely occurs that I don't take time to ponder making a mistake.
I believe there are better methods than hypnosis. Freud is not one of my favorite psychologists and I would prefer coping with the issue, rather than making it disappear. By pondering mistakes, you can catch them easier.
I'm not so bad now, but when I was very young, yes I was afraid of not only making mistakes but looking like an idiot as well. It was one of my pet hates, feeling like a fool in front of people. Now? I don't care all that much what people think and as a result I feel a lot more free to do the things I want to do and if I make a mistake, well I learn and move on. I really wish I had felt like this when I was younger, as I do think that being afraid to make a mistake stopped me doing things I really wanted to do.
Mash, I had no confidence when I was growing up. I developed confidence over time. I teach choir but am afraid to sing solos. I sing to demonstrate for my students and they say, "You should be on American Idol." It's because they don't really know much about singing. Being afraid can be crippling.
