Did you attend an all boy or all girl school?

If so, what was your favorite thing about it?

I attended public schools, so of course there were boys and girls. The benefits were being able to mingle with boys and girls. I tend to see a trend of all boys schools and all girls schools that when they do get a little freedom, they take it and run with it.

I went to an all girls school growing up.  I think there are a lot of benefits - not as much pressure about looks/clothes/boys and more ability to focus on learning.  I think it meant that I had a lot more leadership opportunities than I may have in a co-ed situation.  On the other hand, it did mean that I was not so great in forming friendships with men, even though I had two brothers. It took me a while to get the hang of that one!

I did love rolling out of bed, throwing on my uniform, brushing my teeth, and leaving for school. It was so easy!

I attended an all girl school. My favorite thing about it was probably that I was around a lot of people I had things in common with and there wasn't any pressure that a lot of teenagers face: getting a boyfriend, looking good for other people etc. Having said that, a lot of girls together is not always a good thing. Girls can be quite malicious towards one another.

I attended an all girls school. The most favorite thing that i do miss is the simple pleasure and fun we used to enjoy which seems so true and natural compared to the present generation. The sharing of lunch boxes and those memory of playing around during the lunch break was most fun. I do really miss those simple and carefree life very much.
    Thanks

I did. It was since 1986 - 1991. Three years at my senior technical high school and two years at my Polytechnic. The favorite thing there was, my mind was not interrupted a lot by girls, so that I could concentrate better in my study. No woman ..no cry....!

      Abhaque:
I agree, but in reverse of course, since I went to al all girl school. It sounds like you have different terms for schools than we have in St. Louis. What is Polytechnic? Is that like college?
