What causes some parents to totally infantilize their children subsequently impairing, stunting,
and even damaging them psychologically, even psychically?
They don't want their daughters to grow up taking their clothes off for money, and they don't want their sons ripping people off to pay for it. It's a sad reality, but that's how things have been. Look away all you like, but it is still going on... Maybe even right next door.
Parents are over anxious for their children and don't want them to fail in today's harsh climate. if they infantilize them they can take care of their needs without having to watch them fail.
