What are THE TEN illogical, even asinine premises that people STILL believe in although

such premises have proven to be futile, inconclusive, & even destructive?

Evolution. The insane belief without any proof whatsoever that human beings 'descended' from lower life forms. 100 years from now people will laugh hysterically that anyone ever believed such satanic nonsense.

Technically, the term would be "ascended" especially with the notion that humans are considered superior to other life forms. But you clearly have no understanding of actual evolution and its continued effects on life today.

Creationism, because there's no proof whatsoever that the entire universe was created in seven days by some all-powerful deity that even intense scrutiny of all three philosophical arguments for God can disprove, other than the say-so of some ancient and MUCH re-translated....book.

"Pop Culture" Evolution, because everyone in the scientific community knows that one species does not just evolve from a completely different one, but rather from a common ancestor and over the span of THOUSANDS of years. Evolution is a constant thing, it doesn't just stop, every species of planet earth continues to evolve and adapt to it's environment.

    Belief in God
This God has never been seen, not even in the fable of Adam and Eve.

This God that has 3 identities, none of which have helped the people that follow them.

A God that doesn't play favorites, and who allows killing in his name.

A God that has failed, if humans are his creation. Because, ten of billions of people have been born, and they are still basically evil.

A God that has created Evil, and could even keep his fabled Angels together.

Taking 40 years to find the promised land with the help of God, and that promised land is the cause of more killing in the name of God.

The list goes on and on.

Belief that today we are still the UNITED States of America. The civil war divided the country based on slavery, today the country is divided on color, Blue or Red, and a dearth of purple.

Belief that one political party has the solutions to move the country forward. Out of the two political parties that help bring down the country in 2008.

Belief that the Universe hold some important mysteries. Anything out in the universe is of no value to us, and we would either kill it, use it to our advantage, or they would do it to us.

Belief that the federal government needs to keep growing, so that it will be able to take care of us, like a parent to a disabled child.

Belief that the federal government can solve social issues like Abortion.

Belief that without changing the US political system, that the 2016  presidential election will have any better results than the elections before it.

Belief that the US economy is any better, than the economy was in early 2008. The conditions for a meltdown are still present.
