I just wonder sometimes.
We all have different ways of thinking. We all have a different reality in our head/mind.
I think a lot of it has to do with upbringing/how we are raised/genes/ environment.
But also, becoming educated (although I think it's more important to learn HOW to think than WHAT to think)
I think the best way to learn is by observation, research, open minded discussions.
I think it's important to our human survival to be objective.
To question and to be observant.
In so many ways. To learn to be wise and not easily fooled.
People think differently because we are different. It is never the same thought or idea one would get from another and these differences help each other.
I agree that different ideas help each other.
I wonder why some have different political/religious views. Too.
And many say if you seek truth you will find it. And it will set you free.
King Solomon was said to be the wisest after asking God for wisdom.
Even the way we approach life and others is different. Its like a car; we have different engines and transmissions, (and you can't see under the hood!) So, thats why sometimes we have to say, Boy that car sure got it! - while another car, looks the same, but its a little bit of a disappointment when its driven. Once in a while you will see someone, and say Oh, I know that person, but.. when you get close, they only look alike, but they are someone else. Would be kinda weird if there were clones of you out there... -this post made me smile. God didn't want us all alike. from the very first pair, they were distinctly different and thought differently.

To what degree are you influenced by what others think of you?Are there certain people who, just by being in the same room as you, cause you to act differently than you do when they are not there? What is the solution to this? Is it possible to not be affected by others?

Why ask a controversial question of others whom you do not agree with?I'd like to know what the point of this is? Do you want to learn, cause arguments or claim persecution? There have been quite a few from a number of people, like this. I'm confused, particularly due to the responses of the...
