I was just wondering - What are everyone's IQs?

What a nice opportunity for most people to lie............Mine is175.

      Just kidding.

The validity of IQ scores typically produce 2 camps of people.  Ones who say it is absolutely valid and those who think it is bunch of hooey.

I am not going to argue the validity of IQ tests but lets take a basic look at what it mathematically represents.   By a person adding 10 or 15 points to an IQ score, it can easily put someone in a very small portion of the population.  15 is one standard deviation.

The IQ curve is a uniform distribution curve (it has an area of 1) which is centered at 100.  As previously mentioned, the standard deviation is 15 (The standard diviaition is the square root of the variance which is a way to measure a number varying from the mean.), which means that one standard devaiation above and below from the mean (100) is 85 and 115.  68.26% of the population falls into this area.  2 standard deviations are 95.44% of the population and 3 standard deviations represent 99.74% of the population.  That is the top 2.6 in a 1000.  At 3 standard deviations above the mean it would be an IQ of 145.

There are so few people above 145 that many mathematicians argue that it is hard to get accurate statistical representation.

175 well that is 5 standard deviations above the mean.  Yes, I am telling a fib.

IQ tests, while not the most accurate measure of intelligence, are still a good overall measure of it.

oh, I took on line ones, my sister in law and my husband are actualy geniuses..so..shes always making me take tests to prove Im not as smart as her and its annoying..anyway, I am not so sure they were very accurate. I took a slew of them as a kid and everyone was gasping and all..oh my, she's smart (surprising for a kid whos parents accidentally got her drunk at 2)..they wanted me to skip first grade..HA. Then we ended up moving to a new town, and the new school was way ahead of me, I hadn't learned cursive yet, I was labeled as stupid from day one? I was joking about the boobs, well, I really DO have them, but, Im smarter then most the people who know me actually think I am.  smile

Debatable issues...  I have stretched too far, but quickly halted the jelqing process because my current girlfriend claims that "enough is enough."  I think the girth balance, as you mention - when compared to length, needs to at least be attempted, but the ol' philosophy of striving for excellence never hurts...ouch, or maybe it did for the other party.  Ha-ha!

it doesn't matter anyway, unless my boss thinks I know more than she does - after I've been there a few months, but then she can't just fire me, she has to make my life miserable so I want to quit only I don't quit cuz I wouldn't have an income so she gets fired and the new boss feels threatened by my presence and targets me worse than the first boss so after I contact his boss I am put on probation for 90 days in order for them to demote me but I quit cuz what they did was retaliation and discrimination.

So, it doesn't matter.  I'm in the same boat no matter what my IQ is.

IQ is not measured by tests but instead by what one does. For example, a hermit who lives on a mountain and is a society drop-out has a high IQ. Somebody who lives in the corporate world and treasures material things has a low IQ.
The reason for this is that people who have left the mainstream understand the folly of humankind. Those who treasure fine clothes, expensive cars, and money have little understanding of who we are.
An example is Russian mathematician Grigory Perlman who has rejected millions of dollars and lives in an apartment with only a desk and chair.

I have an IQ of 138, or a “Visual Mathematician” according to the test. According to this guide, I have “superior intelligence” and am almost a genius. Now, I doubt that I am really anywhere close to this intelligent in real life. Unfortunately, this test compares your score to everyone else who has taken the test.

Oh, well I am sure that will change over time. This is something I learned, your IQ can change for some amazing reasons, like pregnancy, or raising a child. There was even a study on that. your logic and reason change depending on who you talk to all day, so new mothers are using different reasoning techniques, which will change your score.  I wonder what 5 years of road work did to mine. sad
