when USSR fall the only USA is remains only supper power & finally resulting Monopoly in world dominating ( resulting war with Iraq, & Afghanistan etc, same doing with Korea, Iran)
what you think if if USA fall like USSR ???
usa cannot fall..ussr was much bigger , didnt have democracy and ruled more by force..people were not happy with government and they had their regional dimensions to it...usa exists since centuries and its governance is role model fo the world..no matter how much people in other countries criticize usa or some even hate it , fact is most of them would love to go to usa..usa is standard of what democracy can do to a country..
Of course the USA can fall - any country can. The old Soviet Union was beaten down by being made to compete in an expensive arms race, plus having to maintain a huge army, then being heavily impaired economically through sanctions etc. The US can easily go the same way as it is maintaining the biggest army in the world and competing in a self-sustaining terrorist war. On top of that the US has been a net exporter for over ten years now and so slowly going broke. Anything is possible.
well you are right that any country can fall..many have fallen in course of history..but i dont think usa would fall atleast for another 50 years..USSR falling is different case..USA doesnot have issues like USSR has had

it seems that you are considering the fall of USSR means splitting the nation (may be i'm wrong :-) ) actually faal of USSR is also fall of Power & what reason cause for USSR same reason is apply with USA !!
yes sushant you are right..i got confused of fall with split...
Of course the US does not have the same issues - it has its own and some of them have similar features, mostly lack of money to sustain the model it tries to maintain.
Keeping Russian tanks etc in satellite countries cost more than the USSR could afford, keeping a lifestyle that cannot be sustained has similar consequences. If you take away things that people are used to having they object and often fight back. When institutions collapse huge segments of society suffer financial loss and deprivation.
It can happen all too easily.
The USSR fell because communism is inherently flawed and Reagan played them like a fiddle.
"The US can easily go the same way as it is maintaining the biggest army in the world .... "
AP, the US does not have the biggest army in the world, just the most expensive one.
I agree with alternate poet. US can fall as roman has fallen hundred year ago. Ibn Khaldun , muslim scientist in mid century, said that the country is similar to human. Someday the country will fall.
If climate change carries on, and gets worse all the countries in the temperate zones are going to come under extreme pressure from a movement of peoples from the tropical regions, which will be uninhabitable. This will not only affect The United States, but it will probably be one of the biggest casualities. Dont forget that one of the greatest factors which lead to the fall of The Roman Empire was the pressure of people coming into it from the outside. I would expect this to be happening within the next sixty years.
It isn't really a question of what if, but a question of when.
well if it does.. Id say alot of countrys had better be ready to starve. since it would very doubtfull that the food shipments from the US would continue. nor would all the finacial aid, that keeps so many foriegn governments up and running. not to mention that future natural disasters would no longer have US troops and material to help out nor would it be likely the former US citizens would want to help any more or have the means to donate money to help out.
Id also bet wars would leap into the scene once more predatory countrys no longer had to worry about the US intervening to aid its allies or those who needed help no longer had a US to ask for help.
Of course im sure Countrys like China would step into the void to aid other countrys in need. or would they.
Most of the world outside the US sees the military aid, financial support etc as domination of smaller countries and paying off bad regimes that supposedly support the American way of life, like the right wing dictators in drug supplying countries I guess.
If the US stayed home to attend its own affairs the world may well be a more peaceful place.
And I'm trying not to say anything about WWII...
Personaly I dont give a flying Fig what they think, they darn sure scream for the US when Earthquakes level their citys and they are trapped and starving. or a Tsunami wipes out while coast lines. or Warlords are committing genocide. or they cant feed themselves.
and the tune will sure change if the US is no longer there to help them out.
Wow, you really are shallow.
Just for the record, the American expenditure on foreign aide is significantly lower than the comparitive expenditure of other major economies such as the Eurozone and Japan.
You have an inflated view of the importance of the US in the world. The benefit of the US around the world is more than outweighed by the harm. Most of what you see as 'aid' is just about controlling trade so that the US can overprice its goods to the world. The current issue is that this is no longer working - as China and others fill the gaps at realistic prices. If world interference stopped then the good stuff would be welcomed, and maybe the reputation of the US would recover.
Fortunately, your obvious hatred of the US (and the obvious reason for it) does not have the power to alter reality.
I don't hate the US, far from it in fact - I do hate what shallow thinking self seeking morons are doing to it - and by extension the affect this had on the rest of the world.
And you repeating the same drivel over and over does not address any of the issues.
"I don't hate the US, far from it in fact "
Yeah, one would never get that impression from your posts ...
The USA cannot 'fall', but China has already reached a level where the USA can no longer claim to be the world only superpower, and in a few decades time they will be one of 3 or 4 superpowers, and quite possibly no even the biggest one.
Macedonia fell. Turkey fell. The USSR fell. The US can fall and will fall. Whatever nation has been in charge has always extended its reach too far. The USA will fall.

What will it take for USA to realize we need to start minding our own business?Wouldn't this be the simplest solution to all the issues with other countries? I hate to sound cold hearted but if they want to kill their neighbors it's none of our business. Why not just work towards being 100%...

I thought Blame Canada was hilarious movie and the main cause of that war was Jewish women did not appreciated Canadian humour and Sadam had a romantic affair with Satan. I can think of many more fake reasons for the US greedy elite to invade and brainwash Canada and US into war. USA has invading...

Why has the USA never won the FIFA world cup?Why is it that a powerful country like the United States has never been able to prove itself to the world by winning the FIFA world cup? The USA has sent a man to the moon and that is a great achievement but why can't they win at least one world cup?

Should the USA be more involved in Middle eastern politics? The USA government made a world wide statement when the protesters rallied in Tahir square in Eypt, should these things be left to world organisations?

What Countries/Nations should the U.S. STOP sending Money to ASAP! Why?Since we are so deeply in debt and have countless issues to FIX ($$) in our own Country, why don't we simply stop giving money away to foreign countries?
