I think what matters most in life is health, family, and friends.
To borrow from the great children's book "The Three Questions" by Leo Tolstoy, what matters most is NOW.
This applies to who you are with, which means they are the most important ones. When is the right time to do things.
Give your undivided attention to the people you are with and the things you are doing.
Experiencing true love in life is what matters most to me. To love and to be loved. Everything else is additional. Purposeful, useful but not vital like experiencing true love.
I believe even if one has not experienced true unconditional love as a child one can start down the road and ask and thank God for this experience in life through loving people.
It will make the difference. It will take you further. You will know true love by receiving it and then giving it and allowing the never ending cycle to go on from generation to generation. This is what matters most.
