No way. You got to find ways out as well as new challenges.
One should never " give up " on life. I have sat with a gun in my mouth from the pain I was experiencing at the time. I am so thankful today that someone sat with me and talked me out of ending my life. Everything and I do mean everything is temporary......We can always influence others but giving up is the ultimate act of selfishness. Those around us be they family, friends or whoever are always influenced by us in some fashion. Personally I am a Christian and I can tell you the Bible is very open about giving up. One should place their faith in God and allow him to use whatever experience we are having to grow from. Life is beautiful, and we should embrace it, even the bad times we can learn and grow from and become better people and stronger people...God Bless and hang in there..
If it "seems" finished it may really not be finished. I would certainly not give up on anything (even more so on Life) because it seemed finished. I tend to go through with things and giving up is something I stay clear of. If I start something I will finish it when it's done not when it seems done.
Just an opinion.
No, you never give up on life, no matter how hard or boring it gets. There will always be something new that will come your way when you least expect it, whether it be good or bad. If it's good, then great, if it's bad then work your way through it as best as you can and you will feel a sense of achievement
Nothing is ever finished, I always have more than two projects running, and my life always has plans.
soul's first and last desire to listen holy music which is coming from sky.
Personally I'd be surprised if I ever felt like every thing was finished, there are always things that can be done. Even if you feel like there is nothing left to be done for yourself, there are still other people that you can do things for. There will always be poor and homeless people, there will always be sick people. There is always something to be done. If you are able to carry on, then to "give up on life" then I do not think I could personally justify that.
We all go through our share of bad experiences where we feel that there is no tomorrow. But no matter how low we fall we can always rise up and be triumphant. The fact that we have life and enjoy the beauty all around us means so much. We have to learn to appreciate the little things in life and let go what we have no control over. Life is good - enjoy it until....
It is human instinct to survive so I would say not.
Though what exactly do you mean when you say "everything seems finished"?
@wilbury4 : What I mean to say by "everything seems finished" is that sometimes when the whole world that you know or rather the people that you know as want you away from their lives and also want you dead, what do you do then. When the ones you love the most for whom you have done everything till now and without whom you won't survive, and if they too want to get rid of you. What do you do then?
