Go to your nearest video rental store and check out all the Red Skelton videos that you can get!

Humor is so subjective.  I love British humor, Eddie Izzard, Billy Connelly, even Russell Brandt.  Also enjoy Bill Engval and Ron White on a limited basis.

For a really good, silly laugh, I love to watch Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder.

I highly recommend Jim Gaffigan, assuming that you really did mean comedian and not comedy. He's PG-rated and uproariously hilarious. Look for his "Beyond the Pale" and "King Baby" albums or DVD's.

Just take a trip to Walmart and watch the show.  It's a laugh a minute!

I think if your looking for something really funny to watch and cheer you up, I suggest I Love Lucy. No one can cheer you up like Lucille Ball, the worlds funniest red head! Watch her episodes and you will laugh for hours smile

Have you ever heard of Maria Bamford? She is really talented and she does voices! Here, this is one of her best bits!

And then there's the monologist called Mike Daisy. He's strictly political but very, very funny! Try this...

I just love Larry the Cable Guy on Comedy Network or History channel. It's a redneck thing. My husband and I did a lot of laughing at Roseanne reruns the other day

More British comedians to see.  Lee Evans - The man is a legend, my favorite by far.  Others like Jimmy Carr, John Bishop and Micky Flanagan are also brilliant.

I'm a fan of Jim Gaffigan.  His brand of standup is different from any other comedian I've seen.  He does a voice where he acts like he's an audience member and it ends up being pretty hilarious.

John Pennett (not sure how to spell his last name) but he reduces me to tears. I also enjoy Louis Black...
