    Best decade?

    I don't think that there is much debate on this one... gotta be Don Johnson and the fabulous 80's but I'm curious what you think.

    I'm with you. Like, totally the eighties! Of all of my four decades on this rock, none have been as colorful for me, or as much fun.

    I think it was the 70s, than can be considered the best decade.  Cultural development, progress in movie making and production of golden movies, songs all happened during the 70s.  Literature also had a tremendous growth during this period all over the world.

    I have to agree with sunilkunnoth2012 on this, the 70's is that decade that I'm constantly wishing I was around for. As a teenager, preferably. I suppose I'm coming from the standpoint of rock music, but all of the great bands were young and in their creative prime … imagine Queen, Steve Miller, the Eagles, Black Sabbath. Oh to have been a fly on the wall!
