Do you think Fallon will replace Leno as well as Leno replaced Carson?
Leno had one hard pair of shoes to fill and did a good job of it. But I'm not so sure if Jimmy Fallon can do the same. What do you think?
I think that Jimmy Fallon will exceed expectations. He is smart, very funny and most of all, the guy is just so darn humble and "normal." He feels both accessible and relatable. I like him that much. I really want to see him succeed.
I see a great rivalry continuing also. When Letterman retires, rivalries will continue between Fallon and Kimmel. This competition is a huge contributing factor to the quality of the show presented to us as viewers.
Didn't think of that, but you are right!!!! We benefit!
I think that Jimmy Fallon is a very capable host. The show itself, just like when Leno took over, will not change - so he will do well. Once in place, the transition will be viewed as a positive action by all who follow such events.
I agree. Fallon will do great in the role. He has done well with his show prior and will connect with the younger viewership better than Conan did. I liked Conan but think Fallon is a better fit.
Agreed. Seems like Fallon is a little less animated than Conan. A little more laid back. Carson and Leno also could project that " who me?" expression after a funny response to a guest and I think Fallon can do the same, Besides, Conan's hair scary.

Jay Leno, good riddance, or will you miss him?It feels like dejavu, Leno is retiring from the Tonight Show. Last time out poor Conan got screwed royally. Are you happy to finally see Leno go? Do believe he will go quietly, or is he simply wiping Conan's blood from the blade that he will soon plunge...

Is it just me, or is the idea of NBC moving The Tonight Show to 12:05am (where it is no longer even "tonight" but "tomorrow morning") to accommodate Jay Leno Retarded with a capital "R"?Conan must be extremely flattered that Fox wants him. I'd be surprised if he takes...
