Lets See how many people write from Right hand and how many from Left hand
Hahahaha what a question to ask!!!!
I always use my right hand....even when it gets a bit stiff I shake it now and then!
yeah i use right hand too.
uses left hand when doing business in toilet.
I'm really a lefty, but I can actually write with either hand.
Right hand here.
My brother is ambidextrous. He is really a "south paw" but in the 60's teachers forced him to write with his right hand, and so he freaked them out by writing with both at the same time.
He has a great sense of humor as well.
My dad was left handed too, and teachers thought it was "wrong" and forced him to use his right hand. It actually caused a great deal of problems. People dont believe me when I tell them this happend, they say...no way, teachers wouldnt do that. But they did.
Im right handed
Yes, it's true, they did use to try and make you change to the right hand - in England, too. Perhaps everywhere? They thought it was wrong, though of course it wasn't.
I'm left handed, but that practice had been phased out by the time I started school, in '78.
Left handed people use the right side of the brain to write - the creative side as opposed to the more logical, left side, which right-handed people use.
I'm left-handed
But you all should be glad you get to read my typing, as my penmanship is atrocious. Perhaps I missed my calling and should have been Mighty MD .
I'm right-handed.
But my best friend in school was left-handed. And no the teacher didn't try to get her to use her other hand to write.
....Writing with the left hand just looks, seems, more clumsy, maybe.....the hand usually curves more, perhaps to maintain a better view of what's been written; and that may be because sentences are written on the page from left margin to right margin.
As far as which side of the brain we use and which is more logical versus creative.....I don't think that's proven at all.
funny how they say lefties are more creative but most the writers here are righties. hmmmm
right handed are winning so far....... any left handed creative people out there.
Yes, I'm right-handed, too. Nevertheless, I look as awkward when I write or do anything else as left-handed people often do.
I also write with the page turned almost upside down, which people find very peculiar.
the more i read about you, the more peculiar you appear.... ha ha.... Maybe you should have been left handed, if it is awkward to write right handed. Try it, you will then be using the other side of your brain, that may work better,
No, I can't write left-handedly at all. But I used to hold my knife and fork left-handedly, and I smoke left-handedly. I also have difficulty knowing right from left.
Otherwise, I'm a perfectly normal person ...
Some things I do right handed and some left handed but they are not interchangeable.
I write right handed.
I always write with the right hand, but sometimes I've written stuff with the wrong hand and that simpy will not do!!

What to know about raising a left handed child? We are being told our youngest is left handed. I have no experience around left handed people. Will I have to teach her writing any different? Will I need to buy different things? Dumb question I know but she already processes everything different than...

Left-handed or right-handed child? If your toddler showed a preference of using their left hand over their right, would you try and persuade them to change to being right-handed? I have no problem with this at all, but one of my friends will not allow her child to use their left hand at all,...
