Ok here's how it works...
The object is to name someone that is connected to the person mentioned in the previous post.
For example if the first post is Sylvester Stallone the next could be Sharon Stone (they are connected because they both starred in the movie The Specialist).
After Sharon Stone could be Michael Douglas ( as in Basic Instinct).
Rules:
(1) Mention the connection with your post.
(2) You may do quick research if you get stuck but refresh thread to make sure no one has posted.
I'll start with...
Angelina Jolie
Pierce Brosnan (both appeared in James Bond movie)
Cool game.
SG
Raging hormones!? You didn't read the rules did you? Pierce and George Clooney have to have some kinda connection (like worked together, or related, or was in the same jail cell, get the idea...?). Both being sexy doesn't work...
Ok so anyways, lets see if I could kill 2 birds with one stone.
Salma Hayek (with Pierce in After the Sunset/ George in From Dusk Til Dawn)
Inspector Gadget - he's a tool man, just like Tim "The Tool Man" Allen.
Maxwell Smart
Don Adams's main character (apart form Inspector Gadget!)
Christian Slater (both in Robin Hood - Prince of Theives)
Adam Sandler - both in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
Drew Barrymore - in The Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler
Michael Madsen as Budd a/k/a Snake Charmer in - Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 -- fellow member of Deadly Viper Assassination Squad
featuring Lucy Liu...as O-Ren Ishii (Cottonmouth)
As your leader, I encourage you from time to time, and always in a respectful manner, to question my logic. If you're unconvinced that a particular plan of action I've decided is the wisest, tell me so, but allow me to convince you and I promise you right here and now, no subject will ever be taboo. Except, of course, the subject that was just under discussion. The price you pay for bringing up either my Chinese or American heritage as a negative is... I collect your fugging head. Just like this fugger here. Now, if any of you sons of bitches got anything else to say, now's the fugging time!
{I just figured if we're gonna play we might as well entertain each other too!!!}
How about "From Dusk Til Dawn" (insert any number of nasty quotes from movie here) for the obvious Tarentino connection?
I'm not sure if that works or not so for the sake of keeping the game going, I'm going to say Steve Buscemi who started with Michael Madsen in my favorite Tarantino movie Resivoir Dogs.
*Note: I loved Lucy Liu as O-Ren and DJ, I love that scene. Classic.
Brendan Fraser with Steve in Airheads.
Great idea DJ. Just make sure the subject is clear so others could make the necessary progression.
Rachel Weiss was in the Mummy and The Mummy Returns with Brendan Fraser.
Ed Harris (one of my favorite actors) in Enemy at the Gates w/ Rachel Weisz.
Ed Harris & Jack Lemmon - Glengarry Glen Ross
This is a scene between Shelley Levine (Jack Lemmon) & Kevin Spacey
Williamson: The leads are coming!
Shelley Levene: Get 'em to me!
Williamson: I talked to Mitch and Murray an hour ago. They're coming in, you understand. They're a bit upset about this morning's...
Shelley Levene: Did yo tell 'em about my sale?
Williamson: How could I tell them about your sale? I don't even have a teleph - I'll tell them about your sale when they bring in the leads, all right? Shelley, all right? You closed a deal. Fine. You made a good sale, fine.
Shelley Levene: It's better than a good sale. It's...
Williamson: Look, I have a lot on my mind right now. They're coming in, all right? They're very upset, I'm trying to make some sense...
Shelley Levene: I'm telling you - the one thing you can tell them is that it's a remarkable sale.
Williamson: The only thing 'remarkable' about it is who you made it to.
Shelley Levene: What the F**K does that mean?
Williamson: That if the sale sticks, it'll be a miracle.
Shelley Levene: What does that mean? Why would it not... Oh, f**k you. You do not know your job. That's what I'm saying. You do not know your job. That's what I'm saying. A man IS his job and you are f**ked at yours.
Mamet is Godlike here!
Wow! Good one. E for effort.
I think Alan Arkin was too!
LOL! Wasn't expecting that. Okay Alec Baldwin was in The Cooler with
William H. Macy. Please try harder.
Anthony Hopkins - in the movie Bobby with William H. Macy
I heard that movie was awful so i avoided it. Am I justified Uninvited?
Bobby Kennedy was also featured in the film JFK by
OLIVER STONE
I actually really enjoyed it, DJ. I now have the DVD.
Jim Morrison - lead singer of The Door, Oliver Stone made a movie about the band.
Val Kilmer was Batman in Batman Forever which featured villain Two Face played by
Tommy Lee Jones
Giovanni Ribisi was with Juliette in " The Other Sister" I love him.

Okay for all movie buffs out there, here's a game for us.. it's called... okay, so you know! i'll start and whoever gets to answer shall ask the next question to get the thread rolling... for those unfamiliar with how the game goes, here's a sample: Q: William Shatner & Halle Berry? * Now to...

This game is simple. An actor must be connected to Kevin Bacon in less than six moves.EXAMPLE:If the actor given was Walter MatthauYou would say..Walter Matthau was in JFK with Kevin Bacon and you would be done in one move. (Which is ideal)JFK is the one movie that is every players best friend...

Do you pose questions or discussion topics both here and in the forum?Often times, I want to spark a conversation. I really want to know peoples' opinions and thoughts, and I want to see both sides of it, so I'll try and pose a question here. However, The more familiar I am getting with the forum,...
