When I was a child, we used to learn things by repeating them over and over until they were fixed in our heads. Today, schooling is much more about playing. This is because, at last, the importance of play has finally been recognized.
Whether we are children or adults, when we play we are relaxed and receptive. Studies have shown that providing a happy, fun environment is of utmost importance in every area of development. By playing, children naturally learn social skills, the ability to cope, sportsmanship and cognition. Furthermore, their brains are also much more able to absorb formal information, such as letters, words and math processes.
