Where you the very strict kind of parent?
Parents want to play their roles perfectly but there is no perfection. Mistakes are made and corrected. Where you that very strict parent to whom your child could not speak to freely and had to fear when speaking to you?
nope, i am too easy going, my kids ran ontop of my head, we are like friends to each other
Compared to my own parents, I am quite laid back. Compared to other parents I see today, I am quite strict.
I have 3 children, the eldest is now 26 while the younger two are 9 and 12.
With the eldest, I had a lot more energy to follow him around, with the younger two I have a lot more patience.
I was very organized, i would say strict and really I should have been a little more laid back. Too late now, but my children have made the adjustments I should have.
