      Hello Peggy,
Lovely article, which definitely brought back the beautiful childhood memories, perhaps the best time in our lives.
It was fun reading the write up. The 'Vintage recipe' made me smile.

Genna, maybe Peggy had it in edit mode to alter something when you tried. It is working for me.

I guess two links are better than one, Venkatachari.

This recipe is such a delight.   It brought a smile to my face.
I'm glad you found this one and shared it with us.

I love the pictures...both the photos and the ones you created.

I reminisced a little about my own childhood.

    Hi John,

Thanks for sharing the link to my article.  I thought it was such a cute "recipe."  I just had to share it!  I learned about creating these Bing images from you!

Oh that is great that you learned about the Bing Image Creator from me. You did a great job. It is fun to experiment with images isn’t it?

    Hi Chitrangada,

So happy to hear that you enjoyed this "vintage" recipe.  I guess our childhood memories never leave us!  Remembering mine always makes me smile, and nice to hear that you also have good memories of those bygone days.

The vintage recipe is fun. I'm an only child and didn't spend much time with other kids and pets in an open field, but for me, the activity underscores the importance of a healthy childhood with group play. Thanks, Peggy for the recipe and John for sharing the link.

Thanks Venkatachari for posting another link that worked for Jenna to see.  I'm not sure why the link did not work for Jenna the first time.  And you are correct, John.  Two links can be better than one.  (Smile)

Thank you, John.  Now that I'm back at Hubpages, I need to master the art of threads.  I'm still learning.  HP sure ain't makin' it easy, my friend.

I did post a comment to Peggy's article on Ventkatachari's thread.

    Hi John,

Yes, getting to play with the Bing images is fun and every word tweak brings up different images from which to choose.  Thanks again for being the one who introduced me to it.  I thought it would be perfect to use with this imaginative "recipe."

Yes those carefree days when we could play and explore all day are still so vivid. I enjoyed reading about your childhood in such a wide open space between two houses. How wonderful! The recipe to preserve children had me wondering at first until I read the sweet ingredients:) Thanks for the memories.

Hi Catherine ( cat on a soapbox ),

I realize the title is probably a puzzler, and probably not the best for SEO purposes.  The title of the recipe had me wondering at first also, but the moment I started reading it, the recipe made sense.  I am so glad you enjoyed it!
