    Hello Peggy,
So good to read your post after a long time.
I wish you all the best for your new apartment and new beginnings. How thoughtful of you both, to downsize your belongings and enjoy life, differently.
As always, I liked the narration of your vintage recipe, and I would love to try it sometime.
Wish you all the best. Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Chitrangada,

Thanks for sharing this article about the cheese "cookies" with others.  As you can imagine, selling our home, downsizing our belongings, etc. has taken much effort and time.  That is one reason I have not been writing much on HubPages.  I do take some time to read articles when in waiting rooms at doctor's offices, etc.  I have been doing quite a bit of that in the last year with my husband's medical issues.  I think we are finally on the right path regarding treatment.  Thanks again!

Thanks for posting Peggy's recipe, Chitrangada.

    Hi Peggy,

I have never had savory cookies as I am a sweet tooth fan. However, my husband loves savory snacks. I bet he would like to try something like this! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Thanks to Chitra for sharing the article.

Have a lovely Monday to all.

    Peggy..
It's so nice to see you.

Your apartment complex looks beautiful and relaxing.

I hope you are on the bottom floor so you don't have to walk up the steps.

I've never heard of cheese cookies, but they sound easy to make.

Maybe I'll give them a try soon.

I hope your husband is doing better and that the two of you are adjusting to this new lifestyle.

Great that you are making friends.

    Hi Pamela,

It is a bit unusual to call these cheesy snacks "cookies" since they are not at all sweet.  They are, however, so good!

I hope you are staying cool where you live.  It is certainly sizzling here in Texas!

I hope you are able to relax now and that you continue to enjoy your new lifestyle, Peggy. I also hope that your husband continues to improve in health. Nancy sounds like a good neighbour. The “cookies” sound very tasty! Thank you for sharing the article, Chitrangada.

    Hi Liz,

Like you, my husband also has a sweet tooth.  As a diabetic, he has to manage that by watching his intake and balancing it with more of the healthy foods.  He is an accomplished cook, and also loves savory foods.  He gives this recipe a big thumbs up!  Your husband undoubtedly will also enjoy these cheesy treats.

Hope you enjoy making these savory treats. Your word prompts are certainly inspiring many interesting responses!  Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the well wishes.  You and others  know how medical issues suddenly take priority in one's life.  Yes, we are on the ground floor.  It makes our lives easier.

    Hi Rosina,

So glad you like the sound of this new-to-me recipe.  It freezes well, so we indulge in a cheese cookie every so often.  Thanks for the well wishes for my husband.  He has made improvements in his health, and we still have a way to go.  I hope you are doing well.
