Ask your doctor or nutritionist. he or she would know better about your situation (ex. if you hgave high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.). Otherwise, it is hard to say pending on your condition. Vegetables are always a win win though.

Healthy food? You name it, it's healthy. The real problem is just eating too much of it. Get your 2-4k Calories, and in the process, get the vitamins and minerals you need. But try to keep the salt/sodium intake below 5g (if you have a family history of heart problems, keep it under 3g)
When you go to a restaurant, and you order fries, ask for them to be unsalted: you'll be shocked at how the fries actually taste like potatoes, and your taste buds aren't being raped by salt.
And always ask for dressing on the side of your salad. Just about every dressing out there is FULL of calories.

Have you tried shirataki noodles? Japanese noodles made from tofu and yams, 20 calories per serving and you can use them in place of pasta in any dish!
