How to avoid overeating?
At times we feel the urge to eat without actually being hungry and at times we eat much more than our diet, because the food is very tasty or we are in great mood. These things slowly add up to our weight.
Exercise well, eat plenty of protein and unprocessed carbohydrate as this leaves you feeling full for longer. Also ensure you are fully hydrated, as thirst can disguise itself as hunger. Don't have snack foods in the house
Drink water before each meal. Water helps us feel full faster and sometimes our bodies mistake thirst for hunger.
Walk away.........get outside.................drink water...................imagine a horrible smell or taste..................and so on...................................put the fork down.....
Have a healthy breakfast ( cereals or egg omelette, etc) ending with an apple or orange. In between, make healthy and quick salads in a tasty way; drink natural fruit juices; have a full lunch compromised of food items required all the nutritional elements; in the late noon, have a few wheat-crackers or yogurt- plain or flavoured with natural ingredients. For tea, have a bowl of fruits or fruit-salads with a full cup of tea. Before dinner, make a tasty sandwich filled with vegetables or eggs. Have a full dinner ending with warm milk which induce sleep better. 4 main meals should be large and extremely nourishing with 2 nutritious mini-meals in between. This keep you not only healthy and robust but also help you maintain and reduce your weight provided you add 30-45 mins regular exercise to your weight-loss regime.

When did overeating become a disease/sickness?...centuries ago, people's main preoccupation was loosing appetite. In part, because it typically meant that you could be suffering from consumption (TB), or, perhaps a venereal disease of some sort or other? All said, no one in those days...
