    What is your best from scratch gluten free cake or cookie (dessert) recipe?

    I am still mastering a lot of gluten free baking techniques and I am always looking for new desserts to try when we have company that we can all enjoy.  Any really good cake/cookie type desserts you've made gluten free? I am not looking for mixes - but for from scratch recipes?

    It is my flourless, no added fat, chocolate cake. It is made from sweet potato mash (instead of the flour), eggs, sugar and cocoa powder. I glace it with a dark chocolate – coconut milk blend. Easy to make from scratch, healthy and delicious. I actually wrote a hub with this recipe. It is absolutely delicious.

    I have written a hub on gluten free chocolate cake.  You may check it out if you like.  It is really good!  When I first made it, everybody was surprised that is was gluten free.  It is the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten.
