Smith's Pizza Palace Plus in Emporium, PA, advertises that they are the best pizza in the country (U.S.).  I am sure this is up for debate, but they did actually win a couple of national competitions.  The pizza is good, but can't say it is the best in the U.S..  I still have about 100,000 pizza places to try before I pass final judgement, :-)

Well I will say this it is not coming from our big pizza chains but if I had to pick one of them it would be papa johns then pizza hut but real pizza come from Naples Italty but for a good slice of pizza New york is the place but if you want a good deep dish you need  to go to chicago. With all of that being said you can make a very good verison of pizza at home yourself just buy a dough maker let it make perfect dough then roll it out then add your toppings that you like.

The food channel says that there's a war between peppi's and sally's pizza and I believe it's in hartford Ct. We went there to try but was waylayd by a bar keep that said the best pizza was at a place called "bars"...and I do have to say it was amazing....only second best to my husband's grilled pizza smile
