Since I am living in India since last few years I have got a thing for spicy food. I like Chole Bhature a lot with Green Chilli.
Oh, you said food... not dish. Well, Asian, actually. Yeah, I know- cliche. I really love sushi and coconut baked chicken.
Wow this is a hard one...cause I love to eat. I love vegetables cooked in a Wok and served over rice or pasta. I love desserts, especially those that combine fruit flavors with chocolate, like lemon cheesecake with a chocolate brownie crust. And I love breakfast: pumpkin pancakes with maple pecan topping, Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, Grand Marnie French toast, Rum and raisin bread pudding, and scrambled eggs.
Sorry...but you got me started and I can't stop. And now I'm hungry!
Biryani, it is the best cause it has the spices in it and tastes good, you can have biryani veg and non veg and still tastes good.
For dinner, I love pizza...so warm and comforting. It has all of my favorite things: bread, marinara sauce, cheese, and veggie toppings...though my favorite type is Hawaiian pizza. My family and I will have pizza this evening, as part of our Christmas Eve celebration.
Also love soups, especially either butternut squash and root vegetable soup or chicken and dumpling soup....anything you can add rosemary to. Rosemary gives such a comforting aroma to cooking food...adding to the medicinal value of soups.
For dessert...chocolate! Hot cocoa with a flavored cream (mint or gingerbread) in it, and whipped cream on top. Awesome!
Also love fruit tarts, with lots of fruit sitting in a custard filling...heaven!
It's hard to give you a best because I like it all. A lot of times it depends on my mood though. I love Indian, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Ethiopian, and American comfort foods. Perhaps I should tell you what I don't like. I don't like mystery meats....meats mechanically and chemically altered to resemble meat. For example, turkey bacon. Why would anyone want to turn a turkey into a pig? Something is very wrong with that. I also don't eat fish. My research in college involved catching many fish out of the river in a big city. Many of the fish were deformed or had tumors. Then, I used to analyze fish for PCB's and Pesticides and grinding up fish was part of the process. I still gag if a lake or ocean smell a bit fishy. I do take fish oil supplements for the omega's, but they've been purified and are burpless.
I love to try new foods. One of the reasons I love curry, for example, is because it has so many flavors. Growing up in America my mom didn't use much spice other than salt and pepper. Rajan, I think you and I could sit and talk about food for a very long time. Great question!
My favorite one food is the Avacado. It seems to me that the beautiful fruit / vegetable is a complete food.
Given the choice between making due with a fast food meal, or an avacado, I will choose the delicious, nutritious avacado.
One avacado is filling; containing enough good calories, and good fats to give energy and a feeling of wellness.
An old southern wives tale promises healthy and regular bowel movements, and a fit constitution with a weekly dose of avacado.
Thanks for asking.
Pepperoni pizza. It just has the best things on Earth on it. Meat, cheese, and bread. You can't go wrong with pizza. Yum.
For breakfast, normally i will eat "Nasi Lemak", I like coconut rice taste. For lunch, I prefer home made foods, I like all spicy foods, like Curry, tomyam, sambal with rice. For dinner, still rice.
I like Indian Food the best for its unique taste and diverse flavours. My favourite Indian dishes are homemade Fish Fry and mutton biryani. I also like Chinese and Italian food.
French fries with mayonaise although French fries are Belgian and the french stole them from us. I love french fries the most because erm ... I'm belgian I guess.
I love to eat seasonal fruits. And amongst them I love ripe mangoes. Mango is the King of fruits and logically too because it tastes so good. Also it is rich in vitamins and minerals and a ready source of energy because of its sugar content. It is also rich in beta carotene which is a precursor of Vitamin A which is responsible for night vision.
What food do I like? I like food for thought...lol Just Kidding. Actually, I like Indian the best: fresh ingredients, spiced well but not to spicey...it's a pretty staple dude. A close second would Japanese...love sushi man.. Peace!
Anything with GREASE! Pasta & pizza oh my ! White Castle (does this count?) I love some greasy chicken & mashed potatoes with corn.
White castle?! Yuck! That is just my opinion though. Chicken and mashed potatoes with corn on the other hand. My husband makes the best grilled chicken.
I love salad very much especially fruits mixed with lettuce and thousand dressing, healthy meal to maintain healthy lifestyle
Fish, it is very useful for our body.Because, it contains omega-3, which strengthens the eyesight and protection against cancer.
Best? Well that has a lot of variables. I'm going to say for convience and price, red beans and rice are great. Easy to make, cheap, and you can make a ton of it.
Good Question. Do I have to only Choose ONE ? haha! joking I know
it's hard! so let me think, Thinking now, Hmmmm Hmmm HMM what might the lucky Food be ? um I would have to say
I love "Kim-chi"!
Same man I really like Kim-Chi on spicy Mexican fried rice.
This is a really tough question because I like a lot of foods. I guess my favorite food would have to be my dad's lasagna. Sadly he's deceased so He can't make it but, at least I got the recipe before his death. I mean it doesn't taste the same when I make it but it is still really delicious.
I like Indian Mughlai food. I love Paya and Biryani. I also like Chicken pizza with lots of cheese and mayonnaise.
Mine is pizza because the taste of it amazing to me and I mostly prefer double cheese, mushroom and also deviled chicken.
I like Russian cuisine. Recently tried pea soup. It tastes very good. The whole family liked the soup. Yet remarkably, the fact that cooked very quickly.
