What is one food/meal that you haven't eaten but want to try?
oh god, tons of stuff, Rhubarb, poptarts, and a million other stuffs my friends talk about. goddamit i live under a rock.
Definitely alligator and ostrich! Have't really gotten a chance to catch those yet
Many people would say that it tastes like seafood.
I would like to try the $1000 ice cream sundae (Golden Oppulence) in Serendipity, NY. It has edible gold actually in it. One day when I have an extra $1000 and nothing to do with it I'll go order one.
Any food / dessert that I haven't tried yet that has some form of caramel in it. I currently have my eye on a salted caramel pie! Yum! At the other end if the spectrum I'm kind of thinking haggis!
Having spent many years exploring natural cures, health, fitness, anti-aging and the effects whole foods have on them, I can't think of anything.
red velvet cake. I heard it's the best but I've never tried it.
There is a golden opulence Sunday served in New York at Serendipity 3 that cost about 1,000.00 and I always loved the way it looked. Who wouldn't mind eating gold? lol Here is a little Wikipedia description of it: five scoops of ice cream made with vanilla beans from Tahiti (Vanilla Tahiti). The chocolate syrup used is from melted Amedei Porcelana, one of the world's most expensive chocolates. "candied fruits, gold covered almonds, chocolate truffles and marzipan cherries." edible 23-carat gold leaf and tiny flakes of gold are sprinkled.[ floral decorations made with sugar paste that can take up to 18 hours to construct are placed on the sundae.
I want to taste Kit-Kat with one of those strange flavours like green tea
I've never tried sushi but would like to try it. With so many varieties now, I don't even know where to start.
Hot dog is food i would like to try,and i wander why it is called that way.
frogs legs..!! i have heard that some people in other countries eaten them..
Prawns ... sea food, lobsters, caviar -- I have only seen them in books and films but we dont get them here in the market
Probably out of curiosity I would like to try the Durian fruit. I mean Andrew Zimmer, from Bizarre Foods, can eat grilled rectum from a water buffalo in the depths of the desert ina third world country, and a glass of fermented milk from a sick goat. However, he cannot stomach the idea of eating this fruit. Anthony Bourdain has no problem eating it.
I would like to try some really delicious tropical fruits.
I've wanted to try sushi but have never had the opportunity. My wife won't even go near the sushi counter in the supermarket. I would like to have someone who's knowledgeable come with me when I do go to try it so they can make recommendations, but nobody I know seems to be terribly fond of it either.
First off bruddah decide what type you are willing to try. Please stay away from the supermarket junk, go fresh. When you are ready, sit at the bar. order an "Asahi", and talk with the "Itamae" (chef). True Sushi is an experience. I hope you try it.
Thanks for the tips, benisan. I will take them under advisement.
