I wanna know how many of you like drinking vegetable and fruits juice. Does it really help maintain a healthy life?

Anything that will get you lots of servings of fruit or vegetables is good; but you have to watch out for things like added salt or sugar, or even the calories that come from the natural sugar in fruits.  (I love vegetable juice, but I also love the the kind with lots of salt in it.  hmm)  Orange juice is one of the best things you can drink.

If you watch out for natural sugar how can you say orange juice is the best thing you can drink?

Totally agree Pacal!  The amount of sugar that occurs (natural and/or added) is in a higher concentration than would be found in the fruit in its natural solid state.  It is misleading to believe that fruit juice is healthier than soda -- they both contain high amounts of sugar.

Also, the downside of fruit juices is the concentration of acid that occurs naturally in them, which in large quantities can cause degradation in tooth enammel leading to cavities.

I'm not a big fresh fruits and veggie person but I found these really neat chewable tablets called Voots(fruits and vegetables). Full serving of fruits and vegetables in each tablet. Taste pretty good and it makes sure I get in all the healthy stuff Docs hound us about.

Vegetable and fruit juices are great.  I have a juicer and I used it a lot during the summer.  Now that it's colder I'm looking forward to vegetable soups.

I like to drink orange juice because it is a good source for vitamin C.  This is also good for pregnant women.  I also like to eat garden salad because it is a good source for fiber.  This is also good for people who are diabetic and with high blood problems. :-)

Fresh fruits always beneficial. Sometimes we shall go for juices of fruit. No for mixed fruit juices.
