      ketage,
To me there's nothing better than a steak right off the grill. They get so tender. The salads are something I do eat everyday. I couldn't live without them.
      Thanks,
      Lisa

      Chef,
It is amazing how herbs and spices can change the flavor of your favorite foods. I just keep experimenting with them.
      Thanks so much,
      Lisa

      Taleb80,
There's a little café up on the corner where I get stuffed dates. They are so good. I have to go back soon.
      Thanks,
      Lisa

I could eat American Chinese food pretty much any day of the week.  Another thing I could easily eat daily (because of the wide variety) is Middle Eastern food - mostly Lebanese.

    Yum!!

      Motown2Chitown,
It's interesting that you should mention "American" Chinese food. There really is a difference from the food you get in some family restaurants.
Lebanese food is very good too. I have a friend who is a very good Lebanese cook.

Any favorite food that you eat everyday will become your non-favorite food. Too much of a good thing is ALWAYS bad. I think I will vomit, if I eat the same food everyday.

When I was young, my mother used to prepare 2 half-boiled eggs for me before I go to school, especially if she woke up late. According to her, that's the easiest to prepare. But I reached a stage where I wanted to vomit, just by looking at those eggs, even though I don't eat them everyday. And do remember, those were fresh farm eggs, laid by our own chicken, and not factory eggs. Nowadays, we have to pay a hefty premium, just to get farm eggs, and many are actually imitations!!!

      Walter,
It so nice that your Mom made breakfast for you everyday. I see your point though. After eating eggs all the time I'd be ready to switch to something else too.
      Thank you,
      Lisa

Lisasuniquevoice, you are right. I am so blessed. At 58, my mum still cooks for me, whenever I visit her. She's 78.

There are so many ways to fix just about anything I don't get tired of foods.
If I had to choose just 1 it would probably be lobster certainly sea food.

My favorite food that I could eat everyday until the grave would be apples. I love them! Pink Lady's, Golden and Green are my top three favorite kinds!

      vmoulton,
I eat a lot of apples. I like them the best when they're in Waldorf salad.
      Happy munching,

When I was a kid it was pizza (there was no such thing as too much pizza in my mind).

Now that I'm older, I have to say that it would be apples.. I do eat them almost every day and never get sick of them!

      renegadetory,
You're not the only one who loves apples. It's hard to believe though, that more people haven't mentioned eating the pizza and all of the foods in that category.
      Enjoy your apples,
      Lisa

Uhm, that's hard to answer. Maybe, a Puerto Rican asopao de pollo ( a thick chicken and rice soup). Although, perhaps in a hot day I wont be so happy. LOL

One of my favorite "rescue meals" for myself is traditional hummus with whole wheat crackers.  Super nutritious and really delicious.  I recently learned to make homemade whole wheat tortillas.  These are another awesome healthy choice to eat with hummus.
