Do you eat kale, and if so, what is your favorite way to eat it?
We have kale growing (quite well) in our garden.
I like the fresh leaves used in a salad best. But I also like it cooked with pieces of bacon; slow simmered, with a little bit of vinegar and a generous dashing of black pepper.
I love to dehydrate it and make it into a healthier alternative to chips. You remove all the stems and then drizzle olive oil lightly over it and sprinkle with a bit of nutritional yeast (adds a nutty, cheesy flavor) or just plain with a bit of sea salt. A dehydrator is nice and even so all the pieces get crisp without any soggy ones. yum!
1 - Sauteed with a little olive oil; it will cook down quickly.
2 - Combined with rice and fried tofu; seasoned with nutritional yeast.
Yum, what bethperry said. I like it raw as a salad or cooked, with a little seasoning.
I love to eat it in a salad, doused with lemon or lime juice, and in the company of avocado slices and sunflower seeds.

I've heard a lot lately about eating "raw" foods and how healthy it is supposed to be. Does anyone know about this and how you'd begin?
