There are so many tasty foods in the world but which type of food is your favourite, if you have a favourite e.g. Chinese food, Mexican food, Indian food, Greek food, Thai food etc etc

    :-)

For comfort food: Italian and Texas Bar BQ...Normal Everyday food  = Mexican/"Tex-Mex" and I really enjoy Greek Food...or anything different than the usual culinary delights...as long as it is good eats!

    Ranked in order:
    1. Good ole grilled Cheese Burger. Nothing beat that.
    2. Mexican Food
    3. Steak-Rib-eye and then T-bone both grilled
    4. Italian
    5. The rest are a tie here I guess.

My favorites are Thai and Italian, but I also like Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Greek/Mediterranean, Russian, Indian, Mexican... I don't think I've ever met a cuisine I didn't like, though there have been individual dishes I didn't care for, of course.

I would say that I like Chinese food the best. I was a waiter in a chinese restaurant, and I was a cook at another. We had an awesome buffet, and we were able to eat a lot of what was left over when we closed down the buffet. Mongolian meatballs yum!
My favorites are Seaseme Chicken, general stou, sweet and sour chicken, cashew Chicken, and chicken fried rice. Eggrolls and Crab ragoon. mmmmmmmmm.

When I was a cook at a chinese cafe, my specialty was Mongolian Beef. the girl who trained me how to cook it used to get mad at me, because I didn't follow the recipe. Then she was shocked, when people kept coming back for more. I was pretty good at it.

I also like mexican food, and also worked for a mexican cafe.
They were known nationwide for their burritos, and that place was allways packed. We had 144 tables in the cafe, and on some nights there would be a 4 hour wait for a table, that's how good the food was. They had 21 waitresses and waiters on a friday night, and still couldn't keep up. I was just a busser, but, I was making 50 bucks a day in tips.

I like Itatialian food, but not so much. If it is alfredo I might eat it, and I like Pizza. But that is about it. I'm pretty picky about the sauses, if it is too sweet, I probably won't eat it. Strange how I also used to work in a pizzaria as a chef.

And, I still can't find a fricking job!

Nothing beats Chinese food for me. Depending on my mood, it might be a different Chinese dish, but any time someone asks me what I want to eat, Chinese Food are the first words out of my mouth.

They say that chinese food is way more healthier, but I do like an egg foo yung or a chow mein or chop suey....and then I have some cheese on toast and junk food afterwards!

I am a soup, salad, sandwich kind of gal. I love Italian food but eat a lot of Pakistani cuisine.

However I am often forced to wonder when people say that they like "good food" (myself included) is that an implication that there are individuals out there that purposely desire poor-quality and bland-tasting food? Go figure!

Now that I live in China and eat it all the time - I pine for a real genuine kosher UK Indian restaurant meal !

Next travels in my summer holiday are to India - with all the choices and so little life left it is the thought of the food that gives it the edge!

Believe it or not, good old American diner food. In my book - nuthin beats an awesome, well made diner burger & kick ass, thick cut, crispy fries.

After that it would probably be Mexican or Thai.
