    Peggy
I have never seen meat labeled as Milanesa-style slices of beef, so I guess its top round and pound.
I wonder though if one could use a tender small steak like beef chuck eye for this one.

    Your recipe sounds great.
I love eating meat like this and the perfect wine is a nice touch.

    Hi Pamela,

Thanks for sharing the braciole recipe with others on HubPages.  The best part of all is that we have lots of it frozen for future meals!

    Hi Chitrangada,

You are correct in saying that when husbands cook it is a plus.  I am lucky that mine enjoys cooking and creating recipes.  We both enjoy cooking.  Thanks for your comment.  One more day left in this year.  Happy New Year!

    Hi Brenda,

If you cannot find Milanesa-style cut beef, then get the thinnest round steak you can find and pound it even thinner.  That would be your best bet for this recipe.

    Hi Brenda,

I don't see my response to you in the feed, so here it is again.  If you cannot find already thinly sliced Milanesa-style beef, then pounding round steak as thinly as possible would be your best bet. Good luck!  It is worth the effort!
