What is your favorite TV theme song? There are so many good ones but I think this is my favorite:

    Mary Tyler Moore

I also loved this one when I was a kid:

    Addams Family

Form an old recording of ancient TV themes:

    Mr. Lucky
    Peter Gunn
    Rawhide

On a lighter note, the theme from The Nanny, for its jazz music and lyrics.

Neutral: ST:TOS music, but I hate the lyrics.

I remember the Peter Gunn one. The Nanny was also a good one smile

It made me think of 77 Sunset Strip...that was a great one.

    BRANDED
You have to be a baby boomer to remember this one:
Theme song to BRANDED , which was a show about a man that was branded as coward during the aftermath of the civil war.

I think it was Chuck Conners as the star..hummm
    Loved him in the RIFLEMAN.

    BRANDED LYRICS:
"All but one man died, there at Bitter Creek
and they say he ran away...........
What can you do when you are branded, but you know you're a man?
So where ever you go for the rest of your life
you must proove you're a man!

Wow, this thread is reminding me of shows I'd forgotten. I remember watching High Chapparal smile Oh, and The Big Valley too with Barbara Stanwyck and Lee Majors.

I really liked the music for The Virginian too.

And I can't forget Get Smart, That Girl and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iH0YdU1L2yU

There were some good ones in the 60s.

Oh, and The Prisoner was also a good one:

I always enjoyed the theme to "Taxi". It was kind'a relaxing for a moment or two. As a late nite rerun it would be the last thing I listened to before shutting the TV off and going to bed.

The Avengers had a pretty cool theme tune.

Monty Python used 'Liberty Bell' by John Philip Sousa.

The original theme for The Littlest Hobo (German Shepherd dog goes around helping people in trouble).

Most TV themes these days are practically non-existent.

Of course, I can't leave out the various CSI/Who songs. Even then they have cut down the theme for CSI: Las Vegas. Grey's Anatomy had a good one but it's been reduced to practically nothing.

Keep in mind that I have 2 smll kids so I dont watch much adult TV...So I would have to admit that I sing the Phineas And Ferb
Song in my head all the time.....
I think it is cute  big_smile

There's 104 days of summer vacation
And school comes along just to end it
So the annual problem for our generation
Is finding a good way to spend it

    Like maybe...
    Building a rocket
    Or fighting a mummy
Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower

Discovering something that doesn't exist (Hey! )
Or giving a monkey a shower

    Surfing tidal waves
    Creating nanobots
Or locating Frankenstein's brain (It's over here! )

    Finding a dodo bird
    Painting a continent
Or driving your sister insane (Phineas! )

    As you can see
There's a whole lot of stuff to do
Before school starts this fall (Come on Perry)

So stick with us 'cause Phineas and Ferb
    Are gonna do it all
So stick with us 'cause Phineas and Ferb are
    Gonna do it all!
(Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!
