Adding Google Channels

   As I'm pretty new to the whole Google Adsense deal, I just realized that one can add URL channels to watch what site it getting you clicks and such. My dad told me to add my reptile site because he changed his codes to mine.
   
   Well, I want to watch HubPages, but it seems that you must insert each link. I tried entering the general HubPage link, as in a lot of cases online that's what has worked. I tried my profile link, and although I get clicks, I still have a ton unaccounted for. Is my assumption correct, in that to watch clicks per individual hub, the URL for each must be used?
   
   If so, is there an easy way around that? Or a quick way to do it?

   You need to add hubpages as a whole:
   
   Just hubpages.com will do. That way they will count all clicks. If you wish, you can also add individual hubs  in the URL channels for a more detailed report.

   Oops sorry Misha. I got confused with analytics and adsense.
   
   Mark- that's what I did, but it won't pull clicks, which is why I tried my profile page, which has pulled clicks. I just thought maybe I did it wrong. I entered http://www.hubpages.com, and it shows www.hubpages.com, like my other sites, which are pulling info from clicks.

      I also suggest that if you have other sites that you have Adsense on and you are tracking the URL information that you leave out the "www" on ALL of them.

   May I ask what's the difference? I just removed all the "www" from the other sites. But, why did the others show clicks and hubpages not even though they all had the "www"?

      If you go to http://www.hubpages.com it defaults to http://hubpages.com
      
      So www.hubpages.com will show no results.
      
      I've found that www.yoursite.com works but unless you have a redirect set up in your .htaccess file (so http://yoursite.com redirects to http://www.yoursite.com) you can use either to track the Adsense earnings. However, yoursite.com will show everything (both yoursite.com and www.yoursite.com) but www.yoursite.com won't show yoursite.com.
      
      For a long time I had found discrepancies between reported clicks and actual earnings on some of my sites until I dropped the "www" from all of them. You still make the money regardless, but when you see an unaccounted for click in your stats it can be quite frustrating.
