"Hamlet" and "Grendel" - the names of our 2 Great Danes. These are often accompanied by words like "no," "stop," "down," "go to sleep," "out," "get my arm out of your mouth," and "put that ham/turkey back where you got it."

"Why?"  Usually a single word of exasperation, but sometimes part of the whine:  "Why do I have to do it?!"

        [I have two teenagers.]

Edited to add:  this wasn't meant as a reply to you, Earnest, but to the original question.  smile

'Ow!'  We hurt ourselves constantly.  When I'm raking out mortar we have a rule - hit your hand 3 times and you get a coffee brake.  (He is always hitting his head, it's the not having hair thing, apparently hair is an early warning system.)

Griffin! Sometimes it is GRIIIFFFFIIIIINNN - it all depends on what he has done right - or wrong!  He is a 1-year-old malamute puppy going on brain dead but we have some fun! Sometimes it is paired with NO GRIFFIN!!  Or $$~!!! Griffin!!

Love would be the second word most spoken in our little house in Central Oregon - and assorted and various 'mad' words every once in a while.
