    Hey Brian,

If it helps, those hubbers who have scores of 75 or more, are located within the featured section of the poem/poetry section of the topic.

There are a few here who restrict themselves to poetry as a form of expression but you might be surprised at who actually writes poetry here who usually avoid doing so. I have a few contacts here who do both or either.

While there are many good poets on hubpages, I like so many and wish I could mention them all.  However to learn, here are some poets who have a very good style and by reading their works it will help you learn to write good poetry.

Kimh039  (A very nice use of meter and compact metaphor)
Blake4D (Good free form a lot of metaphor)
Awful Poet (Very deep meaning and good free form)
Joy56 (Very good pictures painted with words)
Alternate Poet (Very good structural poetry and good methodology)
Surfeitt (Very good knowledge of poetry and a very good person to learn)
Money Lady (Good poetry for children)
Kflippen (Very nice meter and classical flow)
Silentreed (Paints very well with words)
Kavita Trivedi (Nice use of metaphor)
    Sab Oh (Very good haiku)

I guess if I ever get in the mood to try my wings in another pond other then my occasional metamorphic attempts that I am told have been successful I should aspire to make it on your list lol.   The problem I have is that I don't have a favorite form but usually can fit my turn of phrase to fit whatever format someone challenges me to write in if I am familiar with that form.

                Hi Joy:
If you are really into poetry, I have one, four chapters long. I'd like your opinion.
It's heavy but takes you from the earths beginning, the appearance of first life, to the extinction of the most successful life forms ever to inhabited the earth, i.e. the dinosaur, rebirth and to the evolution of man and his final day.
Pls, if you decide to wade into it, let me know what you think.
I thank you if you do.
