   The first account of the creation.
   1 In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the
   earth was a formless void, there was darkness over the deep, and
   God's spirit hovered over the water. God said 'Let there be light',and there was light.God saw the light was good, and God divided light from darkness.God called light day and darkness He

         Dear Beelzedad, As someone commented we have the right to believe in what we wish I can not say one way or another but I would bet on the Holy Bible, of course we must mull over this it just may be that we are from evolution.but I my self would rather believe in God, and to live as righteously as possible
         will evolution teach me how? Does evolution have a HOLY BIBLE?

            Yes, you are free to chose fantasy over fact as your worldview. Why anyone would want to chose believing in a book written by men who believed thunder and lightning were angry gods is beyond me.

      The Bible is the infallible and inerrant word of God but our interpretation of it is not. It also has to be relevant to everyone in every situation at any time. In other words to be timeless, therefore we must interpret it in our own paradigm of existence. Without illucidation the quote given from Genesis 1 is incomrehensible to generations X and Y and many other westerners besides.
      
      Nobody saw creation so this account is a terse thumbnail sketch which lays down five principles: 1. the orderliness of creation, 2. the three days of separation which teach the need for sanctification prior to filling, 3. the importance of one day of rest for every six days of labour. 4 the day of rest is to be devoted to God and others. 5. one week in all corresponds to the moon's phases so we do not loose track of where we are in the week.
      
      As a point of interest the creation of light on day 1 refers the spiritual domain of the kingdom of heaven with all the angels, and not to physical light because the luminaries were created on day 4.
      
      The perfection of the physical creation refers to its functionality. It works meticulously as it was designed to work and was never utopian. Its purpose is to provide freewill completely independant of its Creator for humans, who are the pinnacle of evolution and intended to become God's family. The driving force of evolution is survival of the fittest so nature is 'red in tooth and claw' and that is why the innocent suffer.
      
      Adam was the first person on earth to receive a spirit so that we might be able to commune with God who is a Spirit. It was that life which was breathed into him by God to give him God's image and likeness.
      
      The corruption of Adam's spirit at the fall, Gensis 3, was the origin of Satan and the serpent which beguiled Eve was her own intelligence. The tree of knowledge stands for human wisdom which leads to spiritual death. Jesus is the only one able to restore our broken spirits by His sacrifice for us on the cross. He is our guarantee of everlasting life in God's heavenly family and without Him we are lost for eternity.

   Moses (if he in fact actually wrote the pentateuch)created the "god thing," of the bible you read, in the first 4 words of genesis: " in the beginning, god..."
   Prior to that, this biblical "god thing" didn't exist...but, pagan gods were rife. They were all over the place!
   There were wonderful fairytale stories about them and their communion with man. I guess, as you do, that they were all replaced by this mythical "god thing" that moses alledgedly created.
   Times do change.

One root of Yggdrasill extends to Muspelheim ("world of fire"), while another root to Niflheim (the "world of cold" or "of ice"). Niflheim was sometimes confused with Niflhel; Niflhel being known by another name – Hel, was the world of the dead. Hel was sometimes used interchangeably with Niflhel by many writers, as the world of the dead."
   
   See? That's just as plausible as that which moses alledgedly created in the pentateuch...right?

   I like the Yoruba story. Yoruba is an African pre-christian religion.
   The head God, Orulon, summoned one of the other Gods, Mdudwe, gave him all the magical implements he needed and told him to go and create the Earth. So Mdudwe goes ahead and makes the land and the sea and all the animals and plants. then he takes a rest. Mdudwe, while he is resting decides to make some Palm wine and drinks quite a bit of it. He still has to make man and he then sets about doing that. So the reason that we are all different and none of us is perfect is because God was drunk when he made us.
   That story makes a lot more sense than some I've heard.

   When the Creator-God Allah YHWH commanded the word "Be"; the Big Bang occured and everything started taking shape as per the Diving Desighn; and when it was appropriate as per the Divine Desighn, the life sarted evolving:
   
   At the time the Holy Quran was revealed, the human understanding of the nature of the cosmos and the movement or the stillness of the heavenly bodies was extremely primitive and obscure. This is no longer the case, as our knowledge of the universe has considerably advanced and expanded by the present age.
   
   Some of the theories relating to the creation of the universe have been verified as facts, whereas some others are still being explored. The concept of the expanding universe belongs to the former category, and has been universally accepted by the scientific community as 'fact'. This discovery was first made by Edwin Hubble in the 1920s. Yet some thirteen centuries before this, it was clearly mentioned in the Quran:
   
   And the heaven We built with Our own powers (aydin) and indeed We go on expanding it (musi'un). Quran 51:48
   
   It should be remembered that the concept of the continuous expansion of the universe is exclusive to the Quran. No other Divine scriptures even remotely hint at it. The discovery that the universe is constantly expanding is of prime significance to scientists, because it helps create a better understanding of how the universe was initially created.
   
   It clearly explains the stage by stage process of creation, in a manner which perfectly falls into step with the theory of the Big Bang. The Quran goes further and describes the entire cycle of the beginning, the end and the return again to a similar beginning. The first step of creation as related in the Quran accurately describes the event of the Big Bang in the following words:
   
   Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass (ratqan), then We clove them asunder (fataqna)? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? Quran 21:31
   
   It is significant that this verse is specifically addressed to non-believers, implying perhaps, that the unveiling of the secret mentioned in this verse would be made by the non-believers, a sign for them of the truth of the Quran.
   
   In this verse the words ratqan (closed-up mass), and fataqna (We clove them asunder), carry the basic message of the whole verse. Authentic Arabic lexicons3 give two meanings of ratqan, that have great relevance to the topic under discussion. One meaning is 'the coming together of something and the consequent infusion into a single entity' and the second meaning is 'total darkness'. Both these meanings are significantly applicable. Taken together, they offer an apt description of the singularity of a black hole.
