    Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Your OP statement is below, my explanation is below that.

When someone knocks on a door there is no voice.

      See, simple to understand. hmm

When Jesus knocks on my door and say " hi, I'm Jesus, I'm very sorry my followers have been bugging people, I'm doing a door-to-door to apologise. Hope to get round everybody before the second coming"

Do you see the irrationality of the statement you've made? Or does it need to be explained to you?

    Just curious.... hmm

My life was changed in 2007 AG (AG = After God had his chance the first 30 years of my life!) Life sure got a lot better, happier, healthier, and wealthier for me, when I asked God to butt out of my life and I decided to take the control over my own life. smile

Well done! It's hard to find the intestinal fortitude to ignore all the religious family members ad religious friends leaning on you when you quit the god habit.

I did the same as you as a young man, (early 20s) and my life is and has been great for all the years since. I have had problems, but I made most of them myself, dealt with them myself and got over myself!
I saw the megalomania in wanting to "save" others to my doctrine when I did psychology. smile

Thanks Earnesthub, smile Yes, It was very challenging when I decided I no longer wanted anything to do with religion, and I turned my back on Christianity. Many people who I considered my friends wanted nothing to do with me after I renounced religion for myself and my children.

Family members were upset, and seemed to have taken it personally, when I no longer wanted to be called a Christian. I agree with you, my life did not all of a sudden become perfect, but none of the problems I faced were any different than when I was involved with religion, the only thing different was that I now took sole responsibility for myself and problems. You know how great that feels and how happy and joyful a person can be when they take responsibility and control over their own lives. smile

Thank you for the support and I understand what you are talking about with psychology, ironically that is what I majored in, while in a Christian college lol

Yes, If it was not for that Christian College, I probably would have never learned the truth about religion. lol
