How about a separate forum just to report stolen content so that others will know to look there?
Only if we use Ben Dover and Detective I.Will Kickurarse as our Role Models
By the way, I just had a disturbing email who said they found their content at another site but (I quote)
I did not want to put this in the forum, since I do not want this person to create problems for me
I wrote back saying that they have no reason to fear a content thief, but I really wonder how widespread this attitude is.
This reluctance is what helps these parasites live.
This is an excellent idea. I hope the HP Team give it the go ahead.
Everybody should try wikiwheels.com as ihave already found some of my content there and feel like there is bound to be at least one hub from every popular hubber there.Check it out,im currently dealing with them!!
I went to wikiwheel and noticed quite a few articles looked very similar to some I've read here! I think everyone needs to go check that site out! I'm sure quite a bit of their material is stolen from right here....
such as-- I was reading one of their articles about self conscious or God Conscious and I'm almost sure I've read that here! A dead give a way is it mentions "hub" in the body.... It says "In this hub I'm going to..."
I found who's hub this belongs to--DaKingsKid. I let them know! Sad!!
Action is underway re wikiwheels. the entire site is just stolen Hubs.

Almost all of their articles a few pages on are nothing but Hubpages content copied word for word!

Usually I find a couple pieces of stolen article copy on different sites. Today, it's more than enough to make me comment here. HP notifies us, adds the complaint link, and the complaint file cut-paste copy but little else to build a brick wall against content thieves. For every click...

I just found that one of my Hubs was stolen in June 2014 and published in a magazine. I wouldn't have found out about it except that they have now put their magazine on-line. It was stolen by a slick looking magazine in Australia, and I am from the US. I told them if it wasn't...

If you have noticed your traffic decreasing lately on some of your hubs, this Facebook page is copying content from several hubbers and publishing it on their FB page. The Facebook page is called OHealth atwww .facebook .com /pages ...

These Thieves are back up again.. and once again monetized with that company that has a dollar each way on both the thieves and the Copyright owners... Google! It appears that much of the HubPages content has been shifted or merely re-published with all links, authors and previous publishing sources...

Why can't hubpages do something about our articles stolen by the likes of Apceo? It seems they take just about everything but HP does nothing! HP will lose out too because authors will start removing their pieces.

I hope this is the right place for this. Recently I posted this thread http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/126190 which doesn't seem to have gotten a lot of views.I filed a DMCA, but seemed to have done it wrong as it was rejected. I filed a 2nd DMCA this time through blogger (which seems to be the...
