Gingrich may run for Pres! That, to me is scary!
He is a baptist converted to catholicism!
I voted "Libertarian" in the last election as a vote of protest against the republican and democratic choices I was given!
I have voted ever since I was age eligible.
    NO MORE!
Sane, qualified Americans can't afford to run!...and don't want to!
I have voted in my last presidential election!

Oh dear ....a Baptist?  A Catholic?   Sooooo much more scary than an Islam-loving, liberal activist who refuses to even decide what religion he really is while he refuses to close our borders to drug-trafficking illegals. roll.  Sure doesn't take much to scare you, does it?

I also find my fellow Georgian, Newt, to be scary. He's smart, too, which makes him even scarier.

      Habee:
      He's educated.
I don't know how smart he is.
I think he will be remembered in every history book as one of the truly bad men of American politics.
I'd, totally, lose my respect for my fellow Americans if he were even considered for the presidency!

"Cunning" might be a better word.

If you read his books, you will really see just how smart he is. The difference between what he writes and what he often says during talk show interviews is very SCARY!

They all scare me.  All politicians believe they are royalty.

Now you all understand why Durham made my list of "incredibles" long, long ago.  smile:

RD, remember that copy of Hunter's Horn I gave you? I need to borrow it, along with your other copy. My book club is reading it. Can I, pretty please??

Finding them may be the problem.  Gotta ask your friend Beth.  Perhaps she could go through our vast library upstairs and find them.  Good luck with that!  LOL!

Brenda, my feelings about Newt have nothing to do with his religion. As a matter of fact, I think Huckabee is a great guy!

I like Huckabee too.  I just think he's too soft-spoken and too willing to discuss issues that should never even be spoken about in public.  America needs someone strong-willed but with the right focus.  McCain could've done that if he hadn't been so politically-tolerant. I'm not sure Gingrich even fits that bill either.
