I have recently stumbled on a great forum that was closed and was not able to provide my feedback so I decided to initiate my own.  Want to hear from different folks if you have a name for your car or ever thought to give one to it.  I drive Dodge RAM, and the name is "Mean Luksafur" - lol.  Don't ask me where the name came from, and I hope I spelled it right.  (Hint:  Princess Movie)  Any guesses?

I'm like everyone else. If the vehicle is running properly, I don't have a name. When it's not 100%, I have some names that have been listed here. Our vehicles have such a tough life!

Well? I think the name of your car is derived from Disney's Cinderella?  smile and as for a name for my Lexus RX300??? For the past few weeks I have referred to it as P.O.S. a few times-other than that...no- too busy naming all the other people on the road to think of a name for my car  :-)  J/K

Other names for cars (not names I, in particular, have used, of course) are:

          HOJ
          POC

          and the ever popular:

          FPOC and FHOJ

I have always named my cars! Curtis was a 1993 powder blue Ford Tempo that I bought for $2500 on my Visa card when I was in university. Curtis was replaced in 2003 with a 2000 Honda CRV that I named Godzilla. Godzilla remains my trusty vehicle - I plan to drive him until he reaches 300,000 km.....at least!

Absolutely. And we refer to our cars by name all the time.
My husband's car (black Nissan Xterra) is Vincent.
My former car (black Mercedes C class Kompressor) was Sophia.
We sold Sophia to our neighbor's sister-in-law. So we often see her visiting across the street.
Sophia's replacement (white Mercedes) is Elke. Like Elke Sommer.
