What is the weirdest, funniest, or just plain craziest name that you've heard a dog be called?
Or any pet for that matter?
There was a little chihuahua that was wearing a pink collar being walked by its owner. The owner reached down to pick the dog up, I guess that its paws hurt. She looked at the dog and said, "Do Bully's feet hurt?"
I almost died with laughter. Who was this dog going to bully? Then, I found out it was a boy dog.
The dog was cute though, I have to admit that.
i have a beagle dog,.... his name,.... "pud"
that way if you call the house and ask whats up, i can honestly say,.... "just pettin pud"
i have a basset hound,... her name,.... "whacker"
so when i step out on the poorch to call the dogs i can yell,.... "pud whacker"
small things make me smile.
Based on the old two Ronnies sketch of many years ago where they got their "wucking fords" in a muddle, my old kitten was called "Cucking Fat"... (Until she took a ride on the engine of my car and escaped in terror into the jungle when I heard her cries and stopped)
She was fine, now living in a friends home close to where she ran away..
we had a dog that would only answer to dog or "m-th-rf-ck-r",... and he also answered to "dog",.... and since we lived across the street from the towns most popular preacher and his mother,... we called the dog ..... "dog"
(this is fun, i have a history of naming my pets in a less than traditional way)
...and just droppin' by to say " hey!"
We have alot of animals here and I am amazed at all their names.
The dogs:
Buddrick, D.O.G., Bailey, and Trouble
The Cats:
spazdik-Boo-Bastick, Bobbie, and Shooter,
The Bunnies:
Whip, Cuddles, Squishy, Kesar, Aphrodite, and Tribbel
The chickens:
KFC, Bar-b-que, and Gibblet
and then the Goose:
Duckie (named by my 2 year old lol)
had a horse named "dud",... because i was one,... we used to call him dudly do wrong.
had a cat named tom-ass-D-shit-kitty (thomas the shit kitty)
my aunt had a cat named ouiji,.... as in ouiji board,... and yes, the cat seemed possesed.
nieghbir had a dog named kamher,... pronounced,... "come here"
had a pair of horses named frank and beans,.... and another pair that i named alpo and glue.
oh, hey there SomewayOuttaHere!
While I was taking care of a stray dog I needed a name to call him, and it just ended up being Fat Dog. Because he was.
This is my dog named Deefer as in " D for Dog"
Have no cat yet but seefer - C for Cat has been reserved.
These are all very funny. You all have made my day, I can't stop laughing. Oh, thank you for a great start to my morning.
Keep up the good work.

How do you pick names for your pets?We had some unusual names for our pets when I was a kid (my brother named one cat "Mody" because the cat sounded like its 'motor' was running when it purred. Any cute stories about pets' names in your household?

I have always had a thing about names for my pets, I like them to be unusual and to fix the animals also I am superstitious about naming an animal after the deceased, each time I did (only a couple of times) I lost that animal. Below are some of the names of some of my pets. Feel free to add to...

I had a friend years ago who named their Llasa "Useless." Cute name, but not appropriate for this dog. This little thing was far smarter than both her owner and me. After a painful break-up in my 20's, I unexpectedly took over the care of a pup and named him Solo to...
